Q.

what can we use to rid us of we believe to be lawn grub. The lawn is going brown in many places starting with a small round circle and developing larger in a couple of weeks or so.We are told its caused by lawn grub which is what the creamy coloured larvae nests we have in so many places on the outside walls of house and eaves and guttering plus a outside fan we have on the ceiling in the undercover entertaining area. We clean them down because they look so awful and often they leave a stain behind on the rendering. These look so awful on our lovely newly built house. We are so tired of cleaning them away to only find what seems twice as much in a day or two. Can you tell me is there anything that we can purchase to stop this annoying problem keep happening as they look so awful but if it is right what we are being told that this is also the problem with our grass& we certainly do not want to loose a new lawn that has cost us a fair amount of money just lately having layed by a landscaper when our house was finished. We appreciate what we can buy to solve all problems. We have 2 small pooches so we cannot use anything that is slightly toxic but I really do not want to if it is at all possible

A.

You do need to treat your lawn. You can use something called Merit 75 WP that can be applied to the lawn. Unfortunately, we not have non-toxic means of getting rid of grubs on your lawn.
