About Box elder bugs

  I have a Raintree would these Bux Elder Bugs be coming from this tree ? If so do you have any suggestion on what we should do, when it is in bloom it is beautiful and I really do not want to have it cut down. I live in Fl.

You can spray Talstar on ornamentals and also around the perimeter of your home so that they are unable to enter. Talstar will kill boxelder bugs on contact and has a residual of about 2-3 months.

I used a permethrin only product that came with my cheap ulv backpack sprayer last year with great results(mosquito 86), ran out and went with something that was supposed to last longer with PBO (vector ban plus). It does not seem to be working like the other and looking for something to work well with my ulv which I use to spray all shrubs, bushes, low hanging branches and perimeter of house and any shady area that I think they could be resting at.
