Our pest control guy just sprinkled around our home with this product and although he says it is safe among domestic animals (we have outdoor cats) I am checking to see if and when it is safe for them to go back outside. He baited two areas where we could see the Carpenter ants going up the exterior wall and into the attic. He sprinkled it all over the perimeter of the home and also at the ant trails themselves. The product was Intice granules in the 5 lb purple and white bag. Thank you in advance for your comments
The active ingredient in Intice is orthoboric acid and only contains a small percentage. It will not be harmful to pets. There should be no problem letting the cats outside.
