OK for carpenter ants?

  I purchased this as an indoor treatment to control carpenter ants, but the label indicates that carpenter ants (and a few other ants) are exempted. Should I return it, and if so, what do you recommend as a low/non-odor, non-staining anti-repellent for carpenter ants?
A.

If the label indicates that carpenter ants are exempted, it will not work for carpenter ants. Instead, we recommend using the Maxforce Carpenter Bait Gel for cracks and crevices. The ants will take the bait gel back to their colony, getting rid of the infestation. If it is a heavy infestation, we also recommend using a liquid concentrate item such as Phantom to do a perimeter treatment, as well as a surface treatment for inside the home.
