Q.
bed bug infestations
I have purchased Bed Bug control Kit For 4 Rooms, as there are 4 kinds of sprays/powder. Can you please advise the usage of the material, should i spray all of them at once or try to use 1 at a time.
A.The contents of the kit are as follows:
1 / Pyganic Dust - 10 oz
1 / FenvaStar EcoCap - 8 oz
4 / Bedlam Bedbug Spray
1 / Bellow Duster
3 / Gentrol IGR (Insect growth regulator) - 1 oz
We recommend using the Bedlamd Bedbug Spray first. The Bedlam insecticide spray is applied to furniture frames like the bed frame, the sofa frame and chair frames. We also recommend applying Bedlam around the mattress lining and in between the mattress and boxspring. Moreover, you should apply Bedlam under the couch cushions and along the seams of the cushions. Bedlam is reapplied every 2 weeks.
The following products that you should apply are the Fenvastar EcoCap along with the Gentrol IGR. The Fenvastar EcoCap and Gentrol IGR are both diluted with water and sprayed with a pump sprayer. They can be mixed in the same gallon of water. Fenvastar is diluted as 1 ounce of Fenvastar to 1 gallon of water. Likewise, you have to dilute the Gentrol IGR as 1 ounce to a gallon of water. Gentrol is easy to measure because they are already measured out 1 ounce per bottle. Fenvastar EcoCap and Gentrol IGR is reapplied every 2 months.
All areas that are treated with the Bedlam, Fenvastar EcoCap and the Gentrol IGR should be avoided until the area has completely dried.
The last product to apply is the Pyganic Dust. You will use the Duster that was sent with it to apply. Open the duster at the black cap and fill the duster a third of the way full with the Pyganic dust. Replace the cap and hold it upright. The TOP of the duster is the red extension and the black cap is the bottom of the duster. Dust is applied in areas that are not readily accessible i.e. under and behind furniture, behind hanging picture frames and fixtures, in the wall void by switch plates and outlets. Pyganic Dust must be reapplied every 4-5 months.
