Wet vs Dry with Safety
Why is the pesticide "suddenly" safe once it dries? We have this sprayed around our deck where kids with bare feet are always walking, and I just have a hard time "buying" its' safety once dry.
Most residual insecticides will capsulize the active ingredient as it dries so that it will slow release the active ingredient as the insects come in contact with the treated area. When the treatment is wet, the active ingredients and inert ingredients are vulnerable to the elements as well as people and animals. In other words, the chemicals are more potent when it is not dry and potentially much more hazardous.
