Advance Carpenter Ant Bait Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
Advance Carpenter Ant Bait - 8 oz.
Advance Carpenter Ant Bait is specially formulated to kill common species of ants. The product contains Abamectin B1, a potent insecticide which is highly toxic to most insects including ants. The ant bait has a granular form which can be applied directly on to infested areas. Each pound of the product covers an acre of surface, suitable for use in lawns, backyards, in and around buildings.
Why Should You Use Advance Carpenter Ant Bait ?
The product contains a slow-acting insecticide that is highly effective in controlling ant populations. Each 8 oz. bottle has enough granules to cover half an acre of surface area.

Directions for Advance Carpenter Ant Bait - 8 oz. Use
Use the product by sprinkling bait granules directly on to infested areas, ant trails and mounds. Please refer to the product label for application instructions.
Where to Apply Advance Carpenter Ant Bait - 8 oz.
Apply the product in and around homes, residential areas, commercial buildings, warehouses, food storage areas, garages, lawns and other inhabited areas. Avoid using the product in areas where food is processed and consumed such as dining rooms and kitchens.
Indoor Applications
Trace the infestation source by following the ant movements. Sprinkle adequate amounts of bait near cracks or crevices where ants congregate. Use application equipment or tools if necessary to induce the bait in voids. Pestmall offers such tools which can be found here.
Outdoor Applications
In broadcast applications, spread the bait evenly or in pockets in areas where ants thrive. An 8 oz. pack of the product can cover approximately half an acre of surface.
To protect structures, create a bait band measuring 1 to 2 feet around building foundations. Treat ant trails by placing small deposits of ant bait along the trail.
If ant colonies are located, apply 1.5-2.1 oz. of the product around of each mound.

Review by KANA (Posted on Thursday 22 September, 2011)My second purchase of the Advance carpenter ant bait.Almost a year ago, I noticed an ant infestation in my home and a friend recommended me Advance carpenter ant bait. The product worked great for me. A week ago, a noticed the same telltale signs of an ant infestation again and I just got myself my second container of the pest control product. So far I noticed a decline in the number of ants. It’s been two days since I first used the product. Expecting great things to happen. You go Pestmall!

I bought Advance carpenter ant bait last week and I started using it like 4 days ago and so far, I scraped in no less than 1000 ants. No, I didn’t manually count the number of ants I found dead but roughly, I would say a thousand plus ants because my dustpan was filled with dead ants by the time I finished cleaning up the infested areas I treated. I am not really that much into pest control products but I would definitely recommend the Advance carpenter ant bait to anyone who is having a carpenter ant problem!

A few days ago I started using the Advance carpenter ant bait too and so far, the product has worked great for me. Each day I harvest hundreds of ants and already I can sense a decline in the population of the ants in my home. Definitely worth the $26.70 I paid for the bait. I would also like to add that I very much appreciated the posts on the Pestmall blog. It made it so much easier for me to choose the product most appropriate for my household pest problem.

These so-called "professionals" that we hired to get rid of these damn carpenter ants were really starting to aggravate me because it's almost like they just came to our house to drink some water, take a tour of our backyard, and that's about it!!! The ants were NOT going away and the stress levels in the house were outrageous. So I looked online for other ways to get rid of them...MYSELF. Came across the Advance carpenter ant bait online and just found the best price on Pestmall. I tried it, literally, it only took a few days for me to really start seeing its effects!

This morning, when i woke up, I checked on the infested areas and I found 4 dead carpenter ant queens together with hundreds of worker ants. I read the product was amazing, I didn’t know it would prove to be that good. If you have an ant problem at home, don’t delay. Get this ant bait and you will get rid of the ants in your home within days. Highly recommended!

Is this product applicable outdoor?
I want to use Advance Carpenter Ant Bait outdoors but what if it will rain, does this product stay effective?
A. No, it must be applied during dry weather or the rain comes after 24 hours. When Advance Carpenter Ant Bait get wet or contaminated with water, it will lose its effectiveness because the granules serve as food of the ants. Please read the product label on how to apply this product outdoor.

What does Advance Carpenter Ant Bait have that can kill ants?
A. Advance Carpenter Ant Bait formulation combines a mixture of foods and the delayed-action insecticide, Abamectin. This insecticide acts to reduce the population of worker ants and can cause an immediate halt in egg production resulting in colony elimination. Avoid use of other insecticides or sprays on or near Advance.

Is Advance Carpenter Ant Bait come in granular or liquid form?
A. Advance Carpenter Ant Bait is in granular form; this granule serves as food and will be carried by the working ants to their colony. We do have product that is in liquid form called Termidor SC.

I have a garden that is 200 square feet in area; I found several ants and I want to apply Advance Carpenter Ant Bait with it, how much area does this product can cover?
A. As stated in the product label that Advance Carpenter Ant Bait is not applicable on edible plants. You will need to put Advance Carpenter Ant Bait in a bait station in order for the granules not to go the plants. We have Ant No More Bait Station that really fitted your needs. An 8 oz. pack of the product can cover approximately half an acre of surface.

Q. How to get rid of carpenter ants in your house
How does Advance Carpenter Ant Bait work?
I want to know how this product kills the insect, I tried Advance Carpenter Ant Bait and I have found only few dead ants. Almost of the ants were just carrying the bait to their colony. How will this product work?
A. The Advance Carpenter Ant Bait is working as what you have observed. This product contains a delay kill formula that will allow the ants to carry the bait to their colony until worker ant numbers decline; the colony's ability to sustain itself is hindered. The colony is starved and poisoned to death.

Is Advance Carpenter Ant Bait safe around pets?
A. Yes, Advance Carpenter Ant Bait when applied accordingly as stated in the product label is safe around pets. Advance Carpenter Ant Bait may attract the pets but it can't harm them. It will require a large amount of this product to be ingested by pets to be ill.

Q. Advance ant bait
Hello, you have two Advance products for carpenter ants: the 375A select granular ant bait (white label) and the granular carpenter ant bait (dark blue label) In the small print they both say they're good for carpenter ants and have the same ingredients. What is the difference in these products and which one is best for carpenter ants? Thank you
A. The two items are from the manufacturer and contain the same main active ingredient. However the inner formulation is slightly different making the carpenter ant baits appear more attractive to the carpetner ants than regular ants.

Thanks to pestmall.com for Shipping time was great and phone support was also good. I apply outside my house and inside, in the bathroom area were bugs appearing, and all I see is dead bugs for a couple of hours. So far so good. I'm sure I will be a return customer.
