Advance 375A select granular ant bait is designed to control Argentine, Pavement and other hard-to-control household ants. By using select technologies from PT brand Advance Granular Ant Bait and Advance Carpenter Ant Bait, we have formulated a bait that is irresistible to finicky ants with voracious appetites.
Advance 375A select granular ant bait uses special proteins and carbohydrates combined with a unique corn grit matrix that quickly entices these select ants to readily take the bait back to the colony. Once the bait is consumed, the reliable active ingredient, abamectin B1, quickly reduces populations to acceptable levels.
OUTDOORS BROADCAST APPLICATION for Advance 375A Select Granular Ant Bait :Apply approximately 8 oz per 1/2 acre (or 1 lb per acre). This is equivalent to about 1.8 oz per 5,000 sq ft, or 0.4 oz per 1,000 sq ft. (1 tbsp. equals approximately 0.3 oz of bait.) Repeat application as necessary. AROUND STRUCTURES:Lightly sprinkle the product evenly in a band approximately 1 - 2 ft wide around the foundation of the building. Treat visible trails with approximately 0.3 - 1 oz of product depending on the number of ants in the trail. Repeat application as necessary. INDIVIDUAL COLONY OR MOUND TREATMENT for Advance 375A Select Granular Ant Bait :Use 1.5 - 2.1 oz of product per mound. Apply the product at the edge of the mound. Repeat application as necessary. Answer: The ADVANCE 375A SELECT GRANULAR ANT BAIT is mainly for outdoor usage. It can be used indoors as well for when used in a bait tray. Put a small amount into the bait tray and put it in the infestated areas as you would with ant stations. ADVANCE 375A SELECT GRANULAR ANT BAIT can also be used indoors when applying to crack and crevices using a large centroblub puffer or other appropriate device to place the product into crevices or voids.

Answer: Yes. ADVANCE 375A SELECT GRANULAR ANT BAIT when applied according to the product label rate 8 oz to 1/2 acre it is too small of an amount to harm pets. ADVANCE 375A SELECT GRANULAR ANT BAIT is only .011% active ingredient the rest of the 99.989% is food products that attracts the ants to eat it, so in order to get an animal sick it would take almost the whole jar. Please store the product in a safe place away from food.
