Whitmire Micro-Gen’s Advance Termite Bait System Pro Kit is an in-ground monitoring system specifically designed for termites. The Termite Bait System consists of several components that work together to control termite infestations. The bait system includes a termite bait station (TBS), termite monitoring base (TMB), termite inspection cartridge (TIC), and a termite bait cartridge (TBC).
The termite bait station (TBC) houses the bait system components. The TBC has a Quick-Lock Cap that protects the exposed portion of the station. The bait station can only be accessed by using a tool called a ‘Spider’ which can unlock the tamper-proof cap covering the station.
Advance Termite Bait Station components should be secured to prevent tampering. The Spider is specifically designed for Advanced Termite Bait Stations and without this access tool, the station contents cannot be replaced or serviced..

In monitoring and baiting applications, assemble the bait system by first inserting the termite monitoring base (TMB) at the bottom of the each base station. Place the termite inspection cartridge (TIC) or the termite bait cartridge (TBC) on top of the TMB. Cover the station with the supplied Quick-Lock cap and install station as directed.
Place the Spider Access Tool on top of the Quick-Lock Cap to open or close the station. The Spider is designed to hold the cap and only release it once the cap is reinstalled.
Advance Termite Bait Systems are installed indoors on basement floors or outdoors around structures. Excavations are made for it is necessary for the bait stations to have access to soil. Surfaces covered in concrete and asphalt must be drilled of holes to fit the bait stations. Stations must be fully entrenched to maximize soil contact.

Review by Richard W. (Posted on Wednesday 14 April, 2010)In all honestly, when I first came across this product while browsing termite treatment, I really thought of it as being a useless piece of accessory until I found myself manually inspecting my Advance Termite Bait Stations. That really was not cool. At $25.99, the Advance Termite Bait Station Access Tool is a wise buy. Take my word for it and you will thank yourself some time in the near future..

Review by mohamed H. (Posted on Thursday 25 March, 2010)Useful for smart pest control. DIY pest control is not as easy as many people make it sound and this is something I came to learn about the hard way. A few months ago, I came across a full-scale wood-boring termite infestation in my home and up until that point, I was completely ignorant of the fact that my house was under attack. The termite infestation, or more precisely the subterranean termite infestation came as a big fat surprise to me. The next thing I did was go online and look for termite treatment solutions. While browsing, I came across the Advance Termite Bait Station Access Tool and because of the fact that all the accessory does is help the inspection of bait stations, I didn’t give it much importance but my husband thought otherwise and out of impulse, we just got it. Today I can say that the bait station access tool was just amazing to have around, definitely worth the $25.99 I paid for it. The spider access tool is easy to use and it makes the whole pest control treatment of termites so much more practical. Highly recommended!!

Review by Unknown (Posted on Tuesday 27 October, 2009)Essential accessory for termite bait stations.
Review by Albert M. (Posted on Sunday 30 August, 2009)You just can’t use termite bait stations without having a complementary access tool and perhaps the Advance Termite Access Tool is the best termite bait station access tool out there for the simple reason that the pest control product allows the quick and easy inspection of termite bait stations. The tool provides a fair grip and more than anything else, it comes for relatively inexpensive. Great product. Highly recommended!

Review by Andrea J. (Posted on Tuesday 04 August, 2009)Made from heavy duty materials, the Advance Termite Bait Station Access Tool is a particularly good product. The tool allows for good grip and it makes the inspection of termite bait stations incredibly easy as well as contamination-free. For me, the tool came as a blessing in disguise when I stumbled across it here on Pestmall because I absolutely despise termites. Horrible creatures if you ask me. Cheers Pestmall! Keep up the good work guys.
