Advance Termite Bait System - Pro Kit
Whitmire Micro-Gen’s Advance Termite Bait System Pro Kit is an in-ground monitoring system specifically designed for termites. The Termite Bait System consists of several components that work together to control termite infestations. The bait system includes a termite bait station (TBS), termite monitoring base (TMB), termite inspection cartridge (TIC), and a termite bait cartridge (TBC).
The termite bait station (TBC) houses the bait system components. The TBC has a Quick-Lock Cap that protects the exposed portion of the station. The bait station can only be accessed by using a tool called a ‘Spider’ which can unlock the tamper-proof cap covering the station.
The termite monitoring base (TMB) is made from wood species preferred by termites. The TMB left exposed to the soil to attract termites. Termites enter through the openings that are cut into the TMB structure.
A termite inspection cartridge (TIC) is placed on top of the TMB. The TIC contains the Puri-Cell tablets to monitor termite populations. Made from highly purified cellulose, termites accelerate consumption to reach the rich food source. Termites quickly take over the station’s resources until the food source is fully consumed.
If the TIC shows the presence of termites, termite bait cartridges (TBCs) are put into place instead of a TIC to start the baiting process. The TBC contains Puri-Cell tablets mixed with a powerful termiticide Diflubenzuron which consists 0.25% of the bait’s weight.

The Advance Termite Bait System is highly effective in monitoring and controlling termite infestations. The product’s active ingredient Diflubenzuron, significantly reduce termite populations.

Directions for Advance Termite Bait System Use
To monitor termite presence in premises, assemble the bait system by first inserting the termite monitoring base (TMB) at the bottom of the base station. Place the termite inspection cartridge (TIC) on top of the TMB and cover the station with the supplied Quick-Lock cap.
For baiting, stack the termite monitoring base and the termite bait cartridge with the TBC on top of the TMB. Cover the assembly using the cap provided in the package.
In both applications, soil excavations are done to accommodate the bait stations. This can be done by using drilling tools or other drilling equipment. Drilled holes should be deep and wide enough to fit the stations. Install bait stations 10 feet or 20 feet apart from each other.
Inspect stations 45 days and 90 days after installing and every 90 days thereafter.
Where to use Advance Termite Bait System
Advance Termite Bait Systems are installed indoors on basement floors or outdoors around structures. Excavations are made for it is necessary for the bait stations to have access to soil. Surfaces covered in concrete and asphalt must be drilled of holes to fit the bait stations. Stations must be fully entrenched to maximize soil contact.

Have only installed at this time. Waiting to check for infestations. Relatively easy to install deoending on how hard the ground is. Used a trailer tie down cut off the loop at the top and it made a perfect auger for less than 10 dollars. Pest Mall was very easy to deal with and service has been prompt

I'm currently dealing with a significant subterranean termite infestation in a house that was abandoned for a while. The bait stations had easy to understand instructions and straightforward installation so that is what I'm basing the review on. I haven't had them deployed long enough to comment on effectiveness in eradicating the infestation, but I will hopefully report back in a few months with progress.

He said that he saved so much money by installing the bait himself as opposed to hiring a Pest Control Service to install such simple tasks. So of course, I am convinced to purchase the Advance Termites Bait System Pro Kit. The same friend helped me install the Baits into my home and it was great! I loved the results and especially the saving of money.

At $269.95, the pest control product is a good deal, particularly if you consider the fact that other online merchants sell it for much more. If you are having a termite problem at home then I would recommend you this product. It’s a good one.

It’s been nearly a month since i completed the termite treatment and I can say that my property is now completely free from termites. The shipping was also made quick, something which I appreciated a lot. Overall, the product is a good one and the customer service was plausible as well. I just wished the price were a bit lower.

Review by askan J (Posted on Thursday 06 May, 2010)Because the pest control industry of today tends to be a very competitive place, I don’t trust most of things I see or else hear about online but a few months ago, I came across curious signs of termite activity on my property and I saw myself under the obligation of doing something about investigating the scale of the infestation I was actually having so i got online and i started to browse. I came across the Pestmall website and eventually I landed on the product pages. I saw the Advance Termite Bait System Pro Kit selling for $269.95 and for a moment I thought the price was a real rip-off but then I did a little maths in my head and I came to the conclusion that the deal actually made sense. In the broader aspect of things, the termite bait system pro kits show bait stations, inspection cartridges as well as bait cartridges, everything you need for termite control wrapped in a single package. Personally, I purchased this product and I was very happy with the results I got. Up to you to try your luck. Cheers!

(Posted on Thursday 25 June, 2009)For the last month, I have been using units of the Advance Termite Bait around my home in an endeavor to terminate the Subterranean termites which somehow found a way onto my property and so far, the pest control products have worked great for me. I particularly appreciate the fact that the chemicals of the cartridges come contained in plastic structures, something which makes the pest control products safe to use around my kids as well as my dog. It is also to be noted that the bait cartridges are particularly easy to use and inspect if you want to monitor how well the products are doing. Personally, I would recommend this product to anyone who is having a problem with subterranean termites.

After using the Advance Termite Inspection Cartridges for a few weeks for the purpose of assessing the type of subterranean termite infestation I am having at home, I went on to get to the next step and I got the Advance Termite Bait Cartridges to be used with the bait stations I purchased beforehand and I have to say that I am indeed very happy with my purchase. I have been using the bait cartridges for some time now, maybe a week or so and already I noticed a considerable decline in the number of termites in my home so from me, I give the Advance bait cartridges a perfect 10 on 10.

The termites were leaving holes everywhere and destroying my house. However, when I bought this product thinking it was worth trying since it was very expensive, in few short weeks, the termites were all GONE! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product, the directions are also very easy to use!

A. The Advance Termite Bait System- Pro Kit is very effective and one of the most popular among our customers. It has monitoring wood, to find your infestation-- once it has been spotted, you will exchange the monitoring wood with a poison wood. The termites will carry it back to their colony and kill off the colony.

Q. Are termite traps safe around animals that dig?
we have two dogs that sometimes dig. Our neighbors have installed a termite trap and placed it inside our fenced area next to their house that has one side in our yard. We noticed it and want to know if our pets are safe. Are their chemicals that could harm our dogs? Please let us know if there is a danger.
A. After talking to the manufacturing company, it is safe to say that the active ingredients in the baits will not harm your dog. Actually, depending on the size of the dog and the moisture in the soil, it may be pretty difficult to even take those bait stations out. Also, most dogs don't usually bother to try and dig the bait stations. If you have any other questions, feel free to give us a call at 1-800-788-4142.

Q. Your kit contains 15 units. One of the items is listed as containing 6 ? If you have 15 units shouldnt you have 15 of all items.
A. The kit contains 15 stations along with 6 baits. The stations serve to locate the infestations. The manufactuer does not provide the same number of baits because they are not necessary for each station.
If you discover an infestation at certain locations, then you would place the baits to treat them.

No shipping of bait stations to NY? How is a NY customer able to utilize your products.

If you are inquiring about the termite bait stations, the bait stations alone can be sent.
However, the termite killer bait cartridges cannot be sent to NY because it is not registered in that state for use. Unfortunately, NY is very strict with what chemicals can be applied into the ground and on surfaces by the general consumer and does not have many of our chemical products registered.
All of the termiticides are not registered in the state of NY and can only be applied by licensed technicians
