Advion Fire Ant Bait is slow action bait killing system. Advion Fire Ant Bait contains the dietary need for the fire ants, making them eat and carry the bait back into their colonies to expose the whole colony, Not only affecting one fire but targeting all the ants. It is important that you do not kill the few you see infront of you and give it time. The frighten Fire Ants will know the Adivon Fire Ant Bait is dangerous and also form different colonies through out your residence. Advion Fire Ant Bait is most effect in higher degree weather, 60 degrees or higher. Do not apply bait to wet areas and reapply if it has rained close to your application. Advion Fire Ant Bait is effective to all life stages.

ADVION fire ant bait may be used to control imported fire ants, bigheaded ants and pavement ants in noncrop/nongrazed areas such as residential lawns, golf courses, recreational areas, industrial sites and other similar areas where imported fire ants, bigheaded ants and pavement ants are found. Refer to the Use Rate table for specific treatment site examples where this product may be used to control imported fire ants.

Broadcast Treatments

Make application with broadcast equipment capable of applying 1.5 pounds of ADVION fire ant bait per acre. Calibrate and adjust equipment prior to application to ensure that the proper rate of product will be applied. Retreat after 12-16 weeks if needed.

Individual Mound Treatments

Do not disturb the mound. Do not apply Advion Fire Ant Bait to tops of mound. Apply 4 level tablespoons (0.5 oz) of ADVION fire ant bait per mound, uniformly distributing the product 3-4 feet around the mound. Retreat after 12-16 weeks if needed.
