DESCRIPTION:

BAC-A-ZAP is composed of multiple strains of specifically bred bacteria that directly attack odor causing organic matter, eliminating the source of odors. BAC-A-ZAP actually captures and destroys the odors, instead of simply covering them up. BAC-A-ZAP chemical formulation instantly binds odor causing molecules. It is unsurpassed in controlling odors caused by urine, feces, vomit, grease, fats, proteins, decomposing plant and animal matter, garbage odors, pet odors and other organic matter. It is especially effective in eliminating skunk odors and drain fly, phorid fly and fruit fly habitats.

BAC-A-ZAP can be used in inedible product processing areas, non processing areas, and/or exterior areas of official establishments operating under the Federal meat, poultry, shell egg grading and egg products inspection programs.

NOTE: Do not use on food contact or food preparation surfaces.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: BAC-A-ZAP is furnished full strength and ready to use for the toughest applications. In cases where the product is applied periodically as part of an ongoing maintenance program, the product may be diluted with one (1) or two (2) parts water in order to maximize coverage.

FOAMING: BAC-A-ZAP may be applied as a foam using an applicator device designed to create foam solutions. Place BAC-A-ZAP into the applicator at one hundred (100)% concentration, do not dilute. BAC-A-ZAP is specially formulated to be used in conjunction with ProFoam Platinum foam concentrate and may be applied as a foam into drain lines, to organic debris under heavy kitchen equipment, into wall voids where organic materials or dead rodents may cause odor concerns and onto walls of garbage cans and dumpsters.

DRAIN FLY HABITATS: For best results, apply product at end of day for overnight action on habitats and breeding sites. If drains are not used regularly, pour two (2) to three (3) gallons of warm water into drain opening to moisten drain surfaces before treatment.

START-UP: Apply four (4) to six (6) ounces to each drain where drain fly activity is present. Continue daily for five (5) to ten (10) days.

MAINTENANCE: Apply four (4) to six (6) ounces one (1) to two (2) times per week.

PHORID & FRUIT FLY HABITATS: For best results, apply product at end of day for overnight action on habitats and breeding sites. Use as a wash on all floors where food or other contamination may be used as food sources and breeding sites. In sewage overflow or pipe breakage situations, soak affected areas after removal of contaminants.

WALL VOIDS: BAC-A-ZAP can be applied into wall voids or other inaccessible areas by spray injection or in conjunction with a foam applicator.

CRAWL SPACES & BASEMENTS: Spray onto surfaces or dirt in crawl spaces, that may produce or retain odors from mold, mildew, sewage, wildlife and pets. Apply at the rate of one (1) quart of solution per one hundred (100) square feet.

WALLS, FLOORS & CARPETS: Begin by thoroughly cleaning areas with appropriate materials and methods. Spray BAC-A-ZAP on all surfaces where odors might originate including wall surfaces, floors and carpets. Apply at the rate of one (1) quart per one hundred (100) square feet of surface area (approximately three (3) fluid ounces per square yard). NOTE: Although BAC-A-ZAP is designed to be non-staining, always test surface for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area before treating entire surface.

BAC-A-ZAP may also be fogged into confined areas, such as crawl spaces or attics using a fogging device. Dilute product two (2) parts water to one (1) part BAC-A-ZAP (2:1) and apply as a fog at a rate of one (1) gallon of mixed solution per one thousand (1000) cubic feet of confined space. NOTE: Do not fog BAC-A-ZAP into areas where people or pets are present. Wait until fog has dissipated before re-entry.

COMPOSTING: Mix six (6) to eight (8) ounces BAC-A-ZAP to one (1) gallon water. Pour evenly over compost pile two (2) times per week. The solution can treat up to 50 cubic feet of compost. For best results, turn and mix compost pile while adding the BAC-A-ZAP solution. To speed up the composting process, make 1 gallon solution of water-soluble fertilizer and add 8 ounces BAC-A-ZAP. Pour over compost pile as described above.

REFUSE CONTAINERS, GARBAGE CANS & DUMPSTERS: Once unit is empty, rinse with water and liberally spray surfaces with BAC-A-ZAP. If unit cannot be rinsed with water each time it is emptied, attempt to rinse with water daily or on a regular basis to remove excess soils. Apply BAC-A-ZAP to the unit as often as possible, to the point of surface wetness to control odors and remove pest habitats.

BATHROOMS & FLOOR DRAINS: After cleaning, spray walls and fixtures with a one to one (1:1) or two to one (2:1) dilution of BAC-A-ZAP to prevent lingering odors. Pour three (3) to four (4) fluid ounces of undiluted BAC-A-ZAP directly into floor drains and urinals at the end of the day and allow to work overnight.

Use BAC-A-ZAP anywhere smells exist: Wall voids

  • Carpets
  • Drains
  • Crawlspaces
  • Garages
  • Attics
  • Pet sleeping areas
  • Garbage cans
  • Sinks
  • Athletic equipment
  • Mattresses

BAC-A-ZAP can zap even the toughest organic odors including:

  • Feces
  • Sewage
  • Urine
  • Vomit
  • Smoke
  • Mold & mildew
  • Athletic smells
  • Skunk
  • Stinky drains
  • Garbage

How it works

BAC-A-ZAP comes in an easy-to-use spray bottle. It can be applied by your pest company or you can purchase BAC-A-ZAP from them and apply it yourself. Just spray it on and the bacteria go to work, producing odor-eating enzymes that attack the organic source of the smell. As time goes by, when deodorizers would be wearing off, BAC-A-ZAP is still gearing up--doubling its odor-eating power every 20 minutes until the source is consumed, leaving behind water and carbon dioxide as harmless, odorless by-products.

BAC-A-ZAP is power-packed and salmonella-free. It is also biodegradable, non-toxic, non-pathogenic and non-caustic.
