Use of Bed Bug Pesticides
Before applying the insecticide, carefully read the safety precautions and label of the products. It is recommended to evacuate children and pests out of the targeted room. The high chemical makeup of some insecticides can be potentially harmful upon contact when the treatment is still fresh. It is recommended to wear the proper safety gear such as rubber gloves, eye wear and respirators (paper mask for mouth is fine). Please allow the treated area(s) to dry. This may take anywhere up to 3 hours. Not until, then you can repopulate the room for full use.

Q. how to kill bed bugs at home
i have bed bugs. i sprayed a product called suspend insecticide that kills bed bugs, but i don't have the direction label. my question is , after spaying do you need to stay out of the room for a certain length of time.
A. 
I'm so sorry to hear that you have bed bugs. Suspend SC is safe to use indoors, but NOT on your mattress or ontop or furniture. You can spray it in other areas and do a broadcast treatment. We just recommend that no one else besides the applicator is in the area during application. Once the product is dry, which takes about 30 minutes, it should be safe for any pets or humans to re-enter the treated area.
Another thing I would strongly recommend for you if you have bed bugs is to encase your mattresses and box springs. Those are very common hiding spots for bed bugs. If you were to throw out your mattress and bu a new one, it will just get infested again. That is why we recommend that your encase your mattress. Because bed bugs are nocturnal and usually come out an hour or two before dawn, they like to hide where it's easy access.
Once you encase your mattress, you can spray Bedlam ontop of the encasement.

Q. what to do about bed bugs
I HAVE LOT OF BED BUGS.DO YOU ANY THING WHICH CONTROL BED BUGS.

Bed bug control involved several different products for a complete control.
Use an aerosol like Phantom Aerosol in intimate areas like your mattress seams, bed frames, box spring, around the sofa, sofa cushion seams, and etc.
Use a liquid concentrate insecticide with a larger area like Cyzmic for the immediate areas surrounding your furniture like on rugs. You also must apply liquid concentrate sprays on areas like the base/floor boards in each room.
Use an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) like Gentrol IGR with the liquid concentrate insecticide in the same areas that you are spraying (base floor boards, rugs, etc).
*Aerosol or other liquid sprays must be given ample time to dry before reentry.
Finally, apply a long residual dust product like Alpine Dust in areas that are hard to reach, hardly accessible like behind or under furniture, in the wall void, behind hanging picture frames, and etc. If you have a child or pet that can access certain areas, do not apply the dust there.

Q. bed bugs insect treatment
I live an apartment building and it seem every one has bed bugs. I had the terminator out here about two days a go and it didn't help because they are infested with them so I wanted to get a product to do it myself, but I don't want to spend a million dollars either. I also have a cat and I'm afraid she will get sick if I keep having the sterminators come out. I really don't know what to do because I'm being bit and nothing seems to work because I feel they just come from the other apartments.
A. It becomes very difficult to treat for bed bugs in an apartment complex because all the apartments are connected by wall voids, which are areas that bed bugs use to travel. Use a dust to apply in the wall void. Dusts provide long residuals and so you do not need to apply it but every 3-5 months. Use liquid concentrate sprays that also have fairly long residuals in cracks and crevices that are near the wall. Typically, the corners where the floor meets the wall is going to be a prime area where the liquid sprays are applied. Also, in the meanwhile, use the bed bug tent to protect you from getting bit from the bed bugs. This provides 360 degrees of protection and will give you comfort throughout the treatment.

Q. Want bed bug pesticide
I live in Hong Kong, my room have many bed bugs and bed bugs' eggs, i have tried many methods but i can't destroy the bugs. How can I do? Can you tell me more about your product and how can I purchase it? Is it harmful to human?
A. Hi, since you are in Hong Kong, we cannot send any aerosol spray products.
However, we have a product named Demand CS which comes in 8 oz bottle and Gentrol IGR (insect growth regulator) in 1 oz bottles.
To treat bed bugs, you should mix 1 ounce to 2 ounces of Demand CS chemical and an ounce of Gentrol IGR with a gallon of water. This will treat bed bugs and kill their eggs. Are you looking to treat your whole house? If so, how many rooms are you looking to treat?Was this helpful?

Q. Bed Bugs / District of Columbia
Hi there! I commented in one of the FAQ sections of bed bug issues, but direct contact will probably be best. I have a bed bug issue currently within my studio apartment, it's not a big place, so the distances from my bed and other areas of the apartment are minimal. A week or so ago, I started getting bedbug bites and my experience in the hotel biz years ago gave me a quick heads up as to what the problem was. I did a thorough cleaning, inspection, spraydown with the best stuff I could find in a store around here (probably not so great in comparison to pro-stuff), but I want to be thorough and completely remove the issue. What combination would you suggest for someone with these specifics: - I have a cat. I need to make sure that it's pet safe or have a breakdown on what to do to keep my cat safe. - I live in the District of Columbia in an apartment building. I'm not sure which species is prevalent here. My apartment is a studio, less than 1000 sq ft. I have a queen size bed and a leather sofa, hardwood floors and some throw rugs. I know that all of those are factors for possible hiding spots. - Thanks to my building management controlling the heat, they have perfect conditions to live in, not too hot, not too cold. I already plan on getting covers for my queen mattress, queen box spring and pillows. But I'm at a loss for the insecticides.
A. It is good that you are already considering getting covers, your mattress must be encased. We have bed bug kits available. The basic bed bug kit which includes Bedlam bug spray, Alpine Dust, and Gentrol IGR. The spray is used for surface treatment on mattresses, drawers, bedframes, curtains, carpeted areas, or other areas that you would often come into direct contact with.
Bedlam also includes a straw tool for foaming into cracks and crevices. Once Bedlam is applied, allow it to dry for a couple of hours. Once it is dry, it is safe for you and your cat to walk freely. You should spray once a week for light infestations or twice a week for heavy infestations.
Alpine dust is good for places that don't experience heavy traffic, areas such as behind picture frames, electrical sockets. Treatment in sockets are highly recommended because bedbugs travel through the wall void areas and come out through the cracks and crevices of electrical sockets.Keep in mind that when you are applying the Mother Earth dust, that you dont apply "piles" but rather apply thin layers. Bedbugs will not walk through the piles of dust, they will simply walk around it, so its important to apply thin layers. The bedbug kit comes with a duster that will aid in applying the dust.
It also comes with and IGR. An IGR is an insect growth regulator. Bedbugs are known to reproduce quickly. One female bed bug can produce up to a 1000 eggs in her lifetime, therefore it is important to stop the reproduction cycle.Was this helpful?
