A.   Unfortunately, we do not understand "drying agent". Talstar Pro is a liquid concentrate that you dilute with water and spray to kill flying and crawling insects upon contact.

I'm so sorry to hear that you have bed bugs. Suspend SC is safe to use indoors, but NOT on your mattress or ontop or furniture. You can spray it in other areas and do a broadcast treatment. We just recommend that no one else besides the applicator is in the area during application. Once the product is dry, which takes about 30 minutes, it should be safe for any pets or humans to re-enter the treated area.

Another thing I would strongly recommend for you if you have bed bugs is to encase your mattresses and box springs. Those are very common hiding spots for bed bugs. If you were to throw out your mattress and bu a new one, it will just get infested again. That is why we recommend that your encase your mattress. Because bed bugs are nocturnal and usually come out an hour or two before dawn, they like to hide where it's easy access.

Once you encase your mattress, you can spray Bedlam ontop of the encasement.

Bed bug control involved several different products for a complete control.

Use an aerosol like Phantom Aerosol in intimate areas like your mattress seams, bed frames, box spring, around the sofa, sofa cushion seams, and etc.

Use a liquid concentrate insecticide with a larger area like Cyzmic for the immediate areas surrounding your furniture like on rugs. You also must apply liquid concentrate sprays on areas like the base/floor boards in each room.

Use an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) like Gentrol IGR with the liquid concentrate insecticide in the same areas that you are spraying (base floor boards, rugs, etc).

*Aerosol or other liquid sprays must be given ample time to dry before reentry.

Finally, apply a long residual dust product like Alpine Dust in areas that are hard to reach, hardly accessible like behind or under furniture, in the wall void, behind hanging picture frames, and etc. If you have a child or pet that can access certain areas, do not apply the dust there.

A.   Bed Bug control requires several steps and materials for a complete control. We recommend our bed bug kits which included all the necessary chemicals for DIY Bed Bug control. We also recommend such non-chemical products like bed bug monitors (Eco Keeper Bed Bug Monitor and Glue Trap) and also non-chemical control machines like the Steamer and Cleaner. Also, we have products that will protect you from bed bugs during treatment like the Eco Keeper Bed Bug Tent and mattress and box spring covers.

A.   You can find bed bugs on the product label of Talstar. Talstar is a general insecticide and targets many different insects. The listed species on our web site under Talstar are ones that are commonly targeted using Talstar, however since the bed bug epidemic Talstar pro has tested their product on bed bugs and have recently added them as a targeted pest on their product label

A.   Any residual concentrate with bed bugs on the product label will kill bed bugs. We recommend Zenprox EC, which allows for indoor broadcast application as well. We also recommend using Gentrol IGR, which is an insect growth regulator.

A.   Using just one product for bed bug control may not be very effective because that one product may not be able to treat all locations and as thoroughly as you may need. Since bed bugs are so small and flat, they are able to hide in virtually any crack or crevice. That is why we have bed bug kits available because the kits include a variety of different products to use in different target areas of the room. A.   It becomes very difficult to treat for bed bugs in an apartment complex because all the apartments are connected by wall voids, which are areas that bed bugs use to travel. Use a dust to apply in the wall void. Dusts provide long residuals and so you do not need to apply it but every 3-5 months. Use liquid concentrate sprays that also have fairly long residuals in cracks and crevices that are near the wall. Typically, the corners where the floor meets the wall is going to be a prime area where the liquid sprays are applied. Also, in the meanwhile, use the bed bug tent to protect you from getting bit from the bed bugs. This provides 360 degrees of protection and will give you comfort throughout the treatment.

A.   Onslaught is a pyrethroid insecticide that has an active ingredient that will kill. Gentrol is an insect growth regulator that does not have a killing effect. The two active ingredients in Onslaught and Gentrol will not neutralize each other and so it is alright to mix the two in the same gallon of water to apply in one application. Keep in mind though that certain pests are highly affected by the IGR and other pests are not really affected by IGR at all. Depending on the pest, using Gentrol will or will not be effective.
