Bellow Bulb Duster (Insecticide Powder Duster)
Bulb Dusters are very useful when applying powder or dust pesticides. Powdered insecticide must be applied uniformly to treatment areas to maximize its effects. No matter how effective or potent the insecticide is, success in insect control depends on how the insecticide is applied.

Directions for Bellow Bulb Duster
Open the dust container and fill it half-way with insecticide dust and seal the container. Point the applicator tip/extension towards the treatment area and press the bellow to apply the insecticide dust. For cracks and crevices, insert the nozzle tip/extension inside to the voids and dispense insecticide mist thoroughly.

I never actually got to use the duster. I lost the screw at the back of the base. Just wanted to warn others to be careful.

Very effective for injecting insecticide dust into the perfect holes they create leading to the nest. I also used it to treat a recently discovered carpenter ant infestation. It allowed for accurate and effective dusting there as well. This is a good quality product.

Worth it's weight in gold! No more bees. I had a small crevice on the foundation where I saw bee's going. I was told to kill them before sealing it up, this worked great to get in that spot and saved a ton of money by not having to hire an exterminator. Simple, cheap, and easy!!! You won't be sorry buying this duster!

Personally I used the duster for the application of the dust insecticide Drione and it worked great. The mechanism of the duster is also easy to operate. All one needs to do is fill the rubber container of the duster half-way through using a dust insecticide product. By pressing down on the bellows, it will cause the dust to escape the metal tip of the duster. Using the Bellow Bulb Duster allowed me to inject dust more easily into cracks, crevices, and wall voids where insects like to hide. If you are having a pest infestation at home, don’t hesitate to get this product. It’s worth the money you pay for it. Highly recommended product!

(Posted on )For quite some time now, I have been having pest problems at home, in particular roaches have been absolutely intolerable. 2 months ago, I think, I called in a professional exterminator and paid 500 bucks for a complete pest control treatment of my home. To my utter disbelief, a week after the exterminator carried out his so-called treatment, the roaches reappeared again as if with a vengeance. I can’t stand roaches. They creep me out. After the experience I had with the professional exterminator, I decided that whatever I do, I would do it on my own using DIY pest control products. For the purpose of controlling the pests in my home, I decided I would go with Delta Dust but I was also aware of the fact that my home has a lot of cracks and crevices. To overcome that problem, I resorted to the help of the Pestmall blog and I made a query. My query was replied to within 24 hours, much to my delight and I was suggested the Bellow Bulb Duster (Insecticide Powder Duster) as a means to reach deep inside the cracks and crevices of my home. So far, the Bellow Bulb Duster has worked great for me and the insecticide powder as well. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. I would also like to seize this opportunity to thank Pestmall for running such a wonderful blog and website. Good work guys!! Q. How Can I use Duster ?
How long will the duster last? How many times can I use this powder duster?
A. The manufacturer doesn%u2019t include in the product label on how long will the products last, but most of the people replace or purchase new powder duster for years. The product must be stored in a cool dry environment to prevent the rubber on the duster from breaking down.

Q. I'd noticed that as I squeeze the duster, it will spray too much dust? Is my duster already damage?
A. No, the duster is not damaged maybe you have incorrectly hold the duster. To dispense smaller amounts of dust into the outlets, you should replace the black cap and flip the duster over so the red or blue hand is now at the top and the black rubber cap is facing the ground. Do this after applying about 1/4 of the way with dust.

any suggestions as to how much powder should i put in duster? any other insight? thx
A. The Bellow Bulb Duster only has to be filled up about a third to halfway full. Essentially, the duster will not be as effective if it filled all the way because there will not be a good air flow for the dust to be pumped out. Moreover, many people assume the bottom of the duster is the red extension. However, the most effective way to use the duster is to hold it in a position where the red extension is positioned on the top of the duster.

Q. Bellows Hand Duster
How does this product work? I see a rod/handle? ... a chamber..
I want to use it for DE but no listing give a clue how it operates. Any information will be appreciated.

This bellow bulb duster will work for DE.
The dust is put inside the chamber. Simply, remove the black top to open the chamber. To hold it, the red applicator is actually on top of the duster and the black top is on the bottom. Squeeze the duster and the dust will puff out of the chamber.
Keep in mind that you should not fill the chamber with dust. Rather, fill it to about 1/3 full so that there is a better airflow, which will help the dust puff out easily.

Will I be able to stick it into drywood termite's kick out hole?
A. The diameter of the extension is 0.8cm.

Q. what does the Bellow Bulb Duster weigh?
One answer to this question on your site is 5 kilos - but that is nearly 10 lbs.
I couldn't handle 10 lbs with one hand. Do you mean 5 oz?
When I first saw that 5 kilo weight I thought this duster was not for me.
A. The Bellow Bulb Duster weighs 7.5 oz. It is a very useful, light tool.

Q. DO YOU HOLD PUFFER UPSIDE DOWN WHEN YOU SPRAY OR DOES IT MATTER
A. This particular bellow bulb duster should be held with the extension on top. It will look like it is upside down or have the shape of a gun. It should also only be filled up to about a third or a half. If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact us again.

Is it safe to use different dust insecticides in this equipment?
A. Yes, there is no issue in using different dust insecticides in Bellow Bulb Duster as long as the equipment has totally emptied before applying another dust insecticide.

Q. Which duster would be good for DE and also have a plastic tip that would be safe when dusting near electrical outlets?
A. The B&G Bulb Duster 1150 is made of non-conductive rubber and plastic and is safe to use near exposed electrical connections.

This is the only place we can find the Giant Killer gopher bombs that we need to keep our yard pest free. Home Depot used to have them, but changed brands that are not as good. Actually, they are NO good at all. Even if they still had them, we would order from PestMall because of the great price. Very satisfied with product and delivery.
