I’ve seen about 4-5 of these spiders in my house and they’re NOT small, They’re quarter to half dollar size. I’m really afraid of little spiders so you can imagine how freaked I am about these big guys. They’re brown with some burnt orange coloring on the butt. They have some fuzz. I’m located in the Seattle area of Washington. Just trying to find out what these guys are. Please help

No need to worry, what you have are known as giant house spiders. They are harmless and if they do bite it would be similar to a bee sting. If you would like to use an insecticide to eradicate their population in your area you will need to use a long residual insecticide. I would recommend that you use Demon WP or Suspend SC

it would also help to use a pesticide dust, and treat as many cracks, crevices and voids in and around the home. use a centrobulb duster to apply. make sure not to treat open areas. dust can be messy! it would also help to place glue boards in the corners of rooms to trap them. spiders usually hunt following structual guidlines. all this can be found on this site. happy hunting!!!
