Bell's pelleted bait is manufactured from an advanced formulation that produces a fresh tasting, highly compressed pellet, noted for outstanding palatability and a long shelf life. Pellets hold up well in adverse conditions, making them a popular choice in moist conditions. The hardness of the pellet also satisfies the rodent's desire to gnaw. Rodents, however, can translocate pellets.

CONTRAC, a single-feeding anticoagulant bait containing Bromadiolone, is excellent for controlling mice and rats, including warfarin-resistant Norway rats. It is ideal to use as a clean-out and maintenance bait.

CONTRAC achieves superior rodent acceptance due to its highly palatable formulation. Rodents can consume a lethal dose in just one feeding. Bait shyness is not a problem with CONTRAC because mortality occurs a few days after bait is consumed. It is also less toxic to non-target animals in both primary and secondary poisoning situations than other single-feeding anticoagulants. The antidote, Vitamin K1, is readily available and there is a time factor for treatment. CONTRAC is colored blue and can be used in federally inspected meat and poultry plants in the United States.

Pelleted bait is packaged in bulk pails and in polyglassine place pacs of various sizes that keep bait fresh and free from contaminating odors. Rodents open the place pac with their gnawing. The slender place pac can be used in bait stations along rodent runways and in hard-to-reach locations such as burrows.

SELECTION OF TREATMENT AREAS: Determine areas where rats or mice will most likely find and consume the bait. Generally, these are along walls, by gnawed openings, in or beside burrows, in corners and concealed places, between floors and walls, or in locations where rodents or their signs have been seen. Protect bait from rain or snow. Remove as much alternative food as possible.

Bell's superior meal formulation is ideal to use if there is the possibility that rodents may transport bait to sensitive areas near food, children or pets. Meal baits, while the least weatherable bait form, contain food-grade ingredients, seeds and grains which give rodents a variety of textures and flavors. Meal bait is available in slender place pacs that keep bait fresh and free from dirt and contaminants.

CONTRAC is a single-feeding anticoagulant bait, in either pellet or meal form, with superior acceptance by rodents.

CONTRAC contains the active ingredient Bromadiolone, which controls Warfarin-resistant rats.

Though rodents may consume a lethal dose in one feeding, bait shyness is not a problem because mortality occurs a few days after consumption. Also CONTRAC is less toxic to non-target animals in both primary and secondary poisoning situations than other single-feeding baits. An antidote, Vitamin K1, is readily available and there is a time factor for treatment.

CONTRAC Rodenticide is a pelleted bait made with an advanced formulation process that produces a fresher, better compressed pellet for improved weather ability. CONTRAC Rat and Mouse Bait is a meal bait with high rodent acceptance. Both forms are colored blue and authorized for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

RATS: Apply 3 to 16 ounces of bait (usually at intervals of 15 to 30 feet) per placement. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 10 days or until signs of rat activity cease.

HOUSE MICE: Apply 1/4 to 1/2 oz. (1-2 level tablespoons) of bait per placement at 8- to 12- foot intervals. Larger placements (up to 2 oz.) may be needed at points of very high mouse activity. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 15 days or until signs of mouse activity cease.

RATS AND MICE: Replace contaminated or spoiled bait immediately. Collect and dispose of all dead animals and leftover bait properly. To prevent reinfestation, limit sources of rodent food, water, and harborage as much as possible. If reinfestation does occur, repeat treatment. Where a continuous source of infestation is present, establish permanent bait stations and replenish as needed.

This CONTRAC RODENT PLACE PACKS cannot be any easier to use. It's just a pack you leave where you suspect a rodent to be, the rodent eats it and dies. I love simple products like this and Pest Mall always seems to have to best price in stock.

I only got one because I had a single rodent in my house. It ate this and I found it dead in my food pantry where it hides all the food it stole. I got my friend to clean it up for me and I was very content about it. Pest Mall provides a great price and FAST shipping!

I used this within two days and all the rodents died. I was so happy about this purchase. I'll be buying more soon because the rodents don't stop in my apartment complex!

Q. Contrac pellets
I use Contrac pellets to get rid of mice in my attic. The mice eat all of about 6 x 25g packets in a month or less. I've done this about 6 times. Maybe Contrac is effective but more mice keep coming - or maybe I need something better. Is Fastrac a more suitable product for mouse infestation? Or can you recommend something else?
A.   Fastrac is a much stronger and more effective pesticide than Contrac. However, both these products are not repellents and so they will not get rid of the mice that are coming from the outside. And if the Contrac is not working, there must be a competition food source that they are attracted to. We advise that you search the premises and see if there are any access ways for the rodents to entire the home.

WE had tried everything to rid our yeard of the ground squirrel, but your trap worked like a charm. To date we have captured and released several miles away from our home the five ground squirrels. Cute creatures, but the noise and holes in our yard was really getting to us.
