Cyper WP Insecticide - 1 Lb.
Cypermethrin-based insecticide Cyper WP is a powerful contact kill and residual insecticide in powder form. Each pound of the product yields 48 gallons of potent solution used for control over dozens of common household pests. When applied as directed, residual efficiency lasts for up to 3 months. Cyper WP does not stain or cause damage to painted/varnished surfaces, plastics and fabrics.

Directions for Cyper WP Use
Cyper WP Insecticide must be diluted in water for spray applications. Spray equipment is necessary to apply emulsions to treatment areas. Emulsions must have active ingredient concentrations of 0.1% or 0.2%, depending on the target pests. Do not use strainers finer than 50 mesh size. Use the supplied scoop to measure the insecticide before mixtures. One scoop of Cyper WP per gallon of water yields a dilution with 0.1% Cypermethrin. Doubling the amount of the insecticide produces 0.2% dilutions.
FOR COCKROACHES, SPIDERS, CRICKETS, SCORPIONS, SILVERFISH, TICKS AND FIREBRATS: Apply 0.1% emulsions as a coarse, low pressure spray to infested sites and hiding areas such as cracks and crevices, attics, crawlspaces, baseboards, under sinks and along plumbing, corners, storage areas, inside cabinets, shelves, drawers, under and behind refrigerators.
FOR ANTS: Spray to ant trails and entry points such as doors and windows. Use the product for perimeter treatments following the directions below.
FOR BEES, CARPENTER ANTS AND WASPS: Apply to nests entrances and surrounding areas. Treatments must be conducted late in the day where insects are less active.
TERMITES ABOVE GROUND: Cyper WP can be used to treat above-ground termite infestations. Treatments. Apply 0.1% emulsions to cracks, voids and galleries in damaged wooden members, trees, posts and fences. Apply as a coarse fan spray to foundations, baseboards and other potential entry sites. Treat termite carton nests by injecting 0.25% to 0.50% emulsions using crack and crevice injectors.
BARRIER TREATMENTS: Prevent infestation of buildings by creating a barrier measuring 6 to 10 feet around and adjacent to buildings. Treat foundations uniformly to a height of 2 to 3 feet and wet surrounding areas with 1-5 gallons of solution.

Cyper WP is for use in, on and around structures, buildings and their immediate surroundings. Use the product to control pests in homes, apartments, laboratories, commercial buildings, industrial buildings, food and non-food areas of stores, warehouses, schools, nursing homes, hospitals, restaurants and transports.

This is a very effective product for your general bug slaying needs as well as being an excellent barrier. You get the same product as Demon (Cypermetherin 40%) at a fraction of the price. I have used to kill active as well as a preventative barrier with 100% success against fire ants, termites, chinch bugs and spiders.

Received this product very quickly, and this insecticide has worked great. We live in the country and have been seeing many more wolf and black widow spiders than in years past. No other product worked, but this one has done an excellent job. It has been several weeks since we applied it, and I continue to see the bugs and spiders dropping. It's great!

Bought this to deal with a spider infestation. First application had them reeling, the second has them gone! Occasional maintenance sprays keeps them away.
Worked on ants as well. Great stuff, just don't expect immediate (i.e. instantaneous) results.

Cypermethrine WP insecticide is very effective and it comes in powder form. So, it can be used with ease. It can be diluted in water if anyone needs to spray it. Either way, this product is effective and efficient.

The bugs came back but the new ones always die shortly after coming around. Do wish it didnt take a week to get the product, though.

I wanted an effective treatment option that would also last more than a week or two. The Cyper WP Insecticide was easy to mix and spray and I haven’t had to reapply save for a few times a year. If you hate spiders as much as I do then you need this stuff.

I appreciate the suggestion of the CYPER WP product. CYPER WP's a very good product to kill ants in minuscule hard to reach areas. I have gotten rid of all the ants and I do not see them appearing in my home anymore!

One of the reasons I chose the Cyper WP insecticide is that it has such a long residual effect. When it comes to crack and crevice treatment, it’s a real pain to constantly reapply products every few weeks. This is a really great product.

Q. Painted Surfaces Treatment
Is Cyper WP safe to use of painted surfaces and furniture?
A. Yes, Cyper WP Insecticide will not stain or cause damage to any varnished or painted surfaces, plastic, fabric or other surfaces; however, because it is a wet-able powder, a residue will definitely show up. This frosty residue can be wiped clean and it will not stain, but you do want to consider its visibility before you apply the product.

How much of Cyper WP insecticide should I mix in a gallon of water in treating carpenter ants?
A. You will just need to dilute Cyper wp 2 scoops per 1 gallon of water. The dilution rate of this product depends on what kinds of pests are being treated. We recommend reading the dilution rates for all pests on the product label for proper usage of the product.

Q. Cyper wp for ant & bed bugs
I have several kittens inside the house and I want to use Cyper WP to treat ants and bed bugs. Is this product safe to use around kittens?
A.
Yes, this product is best for indoor application and can't harm pets as long as the product has completely dried.
It is advisable to vacate the area that is being treated with Cyper WP and let the product dry for at least 3-4 hours before re-entering the treated area.
Keep in mind though that because this is a wet-able powder, it will leave behind a visible residue which can show up on colored or dark surfaces.
If you would like a liquid concentrate that will not leave a residue, consider using Cyonara or Cyzmic which have different active ingredients as Cyper but will still prove to be as effective.

Q. question about CYPER WP
The amount of insecticide I received (mixed at "one scoop per gallon")
would make an amount less than 48 gallons. I was sure to count and very
carefully measure, and precisely scrape each scoop flush with the top. I
do not want to say how many I measured, because I want you to tell me how
many scoops should be in the jar.
Please help me understand by clarifying the logic, so I can leave fair and
accurate feedback.
A. I just contacted the manufacturer and they told me that one full scoop is equal to 0.33 oz. It also states that on the product label as well. If one scoop is equal to 0.33 oz, and that divided by 16 oz (which is one pound) it is 48 gallons of the diluted solution. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to contact us again.PS: Their number is on the bottom of the label on your CYPER WP.

Is Cyper WP Pet Safe?
A. Once it is dry, it is safe for reentry. The treated area has to be completely dry though. Also, we would like you to keep in mind that because CYPER WP is a wet-able powder, it will leave behind a visible residue. If you are using it indoors, we recommend that you only use this product on white surfaces like the baseboard or window sills.

Q. Cyper WP isn't working as well anymore.
We've bought Cyper WP from your store a number of times for
roaches. Initially it had a quick kill. Now we're finding it doesn't
work much anymore. I suspect those we missed initially are resistant.
What product that you sell would you suggest?
A. Yes, it does sound like they have built up a resistance. This does not mean they are completely immune, but that it does take a lot longer for then to be effected by the chemicals.
If you are looking for a WP formulation, Tempo Ultra WP is a the 1 of 2 WP that have a different active ingredient that the Cyper WP.
If you are looking for a product in general that is different from Cyper WP, Suspend SC and Demand CS are great products.

Q. Cyper WP For Ant, Roach, Spider, Flea & Wasp.
Hi. I was just wondering if this is safe to use around pets. I have 2 dogs but alot of scorpions. =/
A. Yes, as long as you give the product ample time to dry, it is safe for reentry. After it is completely dry, you may come in contact with the treated area. However, please keep in mind that because this is a Wet-able Powder (WP) formulation, it may dry on with a foggy or cloudy residue.

Q. CYPER WP to treat my lawn
I just wish to be certain that I may use CYPER WP to treat my St Augustine lawn here in south Florida. I suggests spot treatment and I want to know if I spray the entire yard, I won't wake to find I killed my lawn
A. Thank you for contacting us with your question. Cyper WP is okay to use on your St Augustine lawn. It will not kill your lawn.
