Drain Gel - Quart
Drain Gel is a bio-remediation agent for cleaning and maintaining drains and its surrounding areas. Unlike other cleaning agents which rely on chemicals to remove drain dirt, Drain Gel uses live bacteria that voraciously eat through organic debris stuck in drains. Drain Gel cleans drain buildups that may harbor harmful bacteria and become food sources to flies. This biodegradable gel clings on to drain removing the source of odors and leaves a fresh herbal scent.
Why Should You Use Drain Gel?
Unlike other cleaning agents which dissolve or flush debris, Drain Gel contains bacteria that consume organic buildup in drains and non-drain areas.

Directions for Drain Gel Use
It is recommended to treat drains late in the day at times where drain use is at its minimum. Drains that are not regularly used should be moistened with 1 to 2 gallons of warm water. Liberally coat drains and surrounding areas with 4 ounces of Drain Gel. Repeat treatments daily for 5 to 7 days. Maintain each drain by applying the same dose every one or two weeks.
Drain Gel can be used to treat non-drain areas such as sinks, drain grates and floors. Thoroughly clean non-drain areas of organic and inorganic debris before commencing treatments. Spray areas uniformly as possible. Repeat applications daily for a period of 5 to 7 days and maintain these areas every one or two weeks.
Where to Apply Drain Gel
Drain Gel is for use in and around food and non-food handling areas of residential and commercial buildings such as sinks, bathrooms, floors, tiles, drain lines and other areas.

E-mailed the company a week ago and also called, still waiting on a response from them. Not sure what happened with this product. Disappointed.

I’m not sure how I got them in the first place but this stuff has taken care of all the drain flies and they haven’t come back.

We used to pour bleach or boiling water down the drains in the basement but this was only a temporary fix. An exterminator actually recommended this drain gel. We applied it once and our problem was gone. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a drain fly problem.

A few minutes on the internet and I found this drain gel. It was exceedingly easy to use and has virtually cured our fruit fly problem.

What is the expiration date of the Drain Gel? 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, etc?
A. Drain Gel's shelf life is 2 years as long as the cap is secured while being stored in a cool, dry place.

Q. Drain Gel, Drain Fly killer
Hi I received the item in the mail. I was just wondering if you know if I can pour this liquid down the drain where my waste disposal is connected to as well?
I'm trying to cover all my drains... and that's the only one that isn't just straight to the drain, just need to know if it's safe. Thank you.
A. Yes, one of our technicians says that it is okay for you to treat those types of drains with drain gel.

Hi I received the Drain Gel item in the mail. I was just wondering if you know if I can pour this liquid down the drain where my waste disposal is connected to as well?

A. As stated from the manufacturing company, Drain Gel will not harm your waste disposal (or any plumbing or other equipment).
