How to Applying Dust Insecticide
Drione Dust - 1 lb.
Drione Dust provides contact kill and residual control of target pests in and around homes. A powerful combination of pyrethrins, synergists and desiccants makes Drione an excellent dust. A broad label product, Drion controls dozens of common house pests including pantry pests. When used as directed, residuals may last for 6 months if undisturbed.
Why Should You Use?
Drione contains a combination desiccants and pyrethrins that dehydrates and poisons insects, killing them off in two lethal blows.

Directions for Use
Application of Drione is limited to crack and crevice treatments only. Using hand dusters, powered dusters or similar equipment, apply the product in cracks and crevices, voids, gaps between structural components, spaces under and behind appliances, inside cabinets and closets, under sinks, along plumbing, crawl spaces and other infested areas. Apply at the rate of 2 ounces per 100 square feet in kennels and animal quarters. For severe infestations, apply Drione at the rate of 16 ounces per 1000 square feet of surface area. Please read the product label for directions on how to control specific pests.

Where to Apply
Drione Dust is labeled for use in and around food and non-food areas of residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial buildings. Permitted areas of use include homes, apartments, hospitals, schools, warehouses, restaurants, office buildings, hotels, trucks, trailers and lawns.

I used this to clean out the house before selling the house. I wanted the house to be absolutely pest-free for the next owner. Ironically, Lowe's Hardware Store didn't sell the professional products Pestmall offered to the public. So, with all research I found pestmall. Pestmall also offers the best shipping deals and the most outstanding products. I'm glad I got the DRIONE DUST-1 lb. it worked very well, and I got a great deal.

We spread some of this Drion Dust around the basement and we haven’t had any ants down there since. Definitely recommended.

I know there wasn't a family of them living around so I thought Drione Dust would be the absolute perfect product to use!

I spread some of this dust around my basement and a few doorways and I have to say that I am surprised by how well it works. I wish I had learned about this stuff sooner.

An exterminator told us that there was no way to keep them out because the area is so damp. He recommended this Drione Dust, we spread some around the barn and within a few days we were completely roach free!

hi, is it safe to apply drione dust around and inside a baseboard heater? thanks
A. For any dust application it is recommended that you do NOT dust in areas where people will come in to contact with often or in areas with much activity because once the loose dust form is inhailed into your body system, it takes the longest for dust to dissolve. Although Drione dust is made of a natural active ingredient, I would still take caution and limit the areas of use to undisturbed areas,

Q. how to kill bedbugs
Is this suitable for killing bedbugs? I tried bedlams, defoggers and bombs, and still cannot get rid of the infestations. What products do you recommend?
A. Drione dust does have bed bugs on the product label as a target pest. However, we would like you to keep in mind that not one product alone can get rid of bed bugs. You do need an integrated approach that utilizes different kinds of insecticides that can be applied to separate areas so that you can really grasp a control over the bed bug infestation in your home. Such materials will include a dust like this Drione dust in the wall voids, Bedlam spray on furniture, and liquid concentrate with an IGR on the base board areas. We do have bed bug kits that include all these formulations of insecticides. Several kits have been put together for multi-room homes. Can I use Drione to treat for ground beetles?
A. Yes, apply Drione dust around doors and windows and other places where ground beetles will enter your home. You will also have to treat other areas where the pest may be found. Thoroughly review the product label before you apply any pesticide.

A. No, the container it itself has an applicator but you can purchase Insecticide Powder Duster to ensure even application. No matter where you choose to apply dust, there is a variety of equipment options available to help you make effective applications.

Q. drione insecticide dust
How long will the Drione dust stay effective?
A. As stated in the product label that Drione dust will remain effective for up to six months and that is really because dust and debris build up will not allow the dust to remain active. However, in its original content, Drione dust has an indefinite shelf life if you store it in a cool, dry place, due to its formulation.

Q. Purchased drione dust and centrobulb duster
Purchased drione dust and centrobulb duster, am applying- should I see dust after squeezing bulb to crevice. inside the bulb on the shaft are holes to spread the dust, there is a cotter pin with floating "block" what position should this be in? I am applying and see no signs of powder, need to know if this is normal or should I see a white dust powder after applying??
A. The duster should only be filled halfway with the dust or less for the duster to function correctly. If you feel that the item is defect, test the airflow of the duster by taking out all the dust that was initially placed in the duster, and squeezing the duster to make sure that it pumps air.
