Final Blox Rodenticide - 18 lbs.
From the rodent control specialist, Bell Laboratories, Final Blox Rodenticide takes rodenticide efficiency to another level. Its active ingredient is Brodifacoum, a second generation anticoagulant noted for its potency as a rodenticide. Final Blox combines this lethal poison with 16 other food-grade ingredients, producing a highly attractive bait that unsurpassed in both acceptance and control. The all-weather blocks have corrugated edges that appeal to rodents to nibble the baits.

Directions for Use
Final Blox Rodenticide can be used as-is, using wires or in tamper-proof bait stations. Do not broadcast bait. Baits should be placed in areas that are less accessible to children and pets. Remove alternative food sources before treatments. Determine areas ideal for bait placements. Place bait/bait stations along walls, in corners, near gnawed openings, burrows, concealed places and other areas where rodent activity is present.
FOR RATS: Apply 5 to 22 blocks per placement at intervals of 15 to 30 feet in infested areas. Maintain a constant supply of fresh bait for at least 10 days.
FOR MICE: Use one block per placement. Use two blocks for severe infestations. Space baits 8 to 12 feet apart.
Replenish baits regularly. Remove and dispose of spoiled, contaminated and leftover baits. Collect dead animals and dispose of properly. If reinfestation occurs, repeat treatments as necessary.

Bell Labs' Final Blox Rodenticide is easy to use, fits most rodent bait stations and is at least as effective as other similar products on the market. Most importantly it is accepted by rodents.

I bought this product to help control rats. We have a rampant rat problem in our alleyway and burrows in a patch of ground. I bought this product after seeing all the positive reviews. I bought bait stations. Loaded them up and was happy to know that i was going to make a difference.
Alas, after a week I checked the stations and there has not been a nibble. I moved the stations, I even put blox directly next to and in the burrow.
Checked again and the rats simply have no interest in this product at all.
I have a mostly full bucket.
I am going to call the company and see what can be done. Hopefully they will help me out.
Reply : We apologize to hear that but Final Blox is usually the top ranking products on the market as far as rodenticides are concerned. There may be a competitive food source nearby that is simply more attractive to the rodents than the Final Blox are. If they are not going in to the bait stations, we recommend that the stations are physically moved to other locations where the rodenticide may be more attractive.

I really hoped this product would work like the reviews I read. Serveral of my neighbors split the bucket and the rats have not eaten a single one. They actually moved the blocks out of the way so they could get to their holes. I really wanted this to work, but wasted of 83 bucks instead. I had better luck with the green blocks I bought at Lowes.

I would also recommend that you use bait stations to lock the baits securely in place because when I first used these blocks with out the bait stations all my baits just disappeared somewhere. It got rid of my rats at that point but it got too expensive to continue to order more baits as they kept running off with the poison!

How to treat mice using Final Blox Rodenticide?
A. Final Blox Rodenticide is one of the best mouse bait. We recommend placing 1 block per placement at 8 to 12 foot intervals in infested areas. Two blocks may be needed at points of very high mouse activity.
Please maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 15 days or until signs of mouse activity cease. To protect non-target wildlife and children or pets, use tamper-resistant bait stations to store the poison baits.

Do I need to mix this rodent control product with water?
A. No, you should not mix Final Blox Rodenticide with water for it may lose its effectiveness.

Q. Final Blox Pesticide
Can you put this product into the sewer and is it safe for wildlife? What is the active ingredient in Final Blox? What is the EPA registration number for Final bloc? What type of formulation is this product? I am applying for a pest control license and need to know these ????? Thanks for your help.
A. Final Blox rodenticide is not safe for non-target animals and does have a secondary kill effect. The Final rodenticides come as blox or as pellets and the active ingredient is Brodifacoum. Q. Can these blocks be safely broken up into smaller pieces to make it easier for mice to eat?
I was wondering if these can be broken up or they ust be kept whole as is.
A. It does not have to be broken up. In fact, it may be more effective to keep the blocks on pegs inside the bait station so that the rodents can choose it off. If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact us again.

If I purchased Final Blox now, would its potency decrease over time, or would it remain usable for some years? (Indefinitely?) Thanks.

How long does it take for a rat to die after ingesting Final?
A. For the Final Blox Rodenticide, it does take a few hours for the poison to take effect.

Yes, but how long does it take for the rat to die. I'm concerned about it suffering.
A. Final Blox is a anticoagulant and so that means that the rodents actually do not know that they have been poisoned. It's only supposed to take one feeding for the effects of the rodenticide to take place; however, the active ingredient has a delay kill and so they can feed several times between the initial feeding and death. However, the reason they return to feed is because they are unaware that the active ingredient is in their bodies.
