HOW to GET RID of MOSQUITO

Mosquitoes feed on blood humans and pets. They can transfer fatal diseases to pets and human. The most common and deadly disease that they can spread is called an Encephalitis and West Nile Virus. Encephalitis is an inflammation of the brain that can be caused by viruses. Some of the symptoms of this disease are severe headaches, high fever, mental disturbances (i.e. confusion, irritability, tremors, stupor and coma). Mosquitoes lay their eggs in still water. They are black and white banded legs or torso. Most of them have a black and white pattern of scales on the dorsal abdomen. Most of the mosquitoes will be active at night or dusk.

MOSQUITO INSPECTION

Mosquitoes can be found anywhere where water is gathered (i.e. birdbaths, old unused tires, at the end of a runoff, cans, barrels) and moisture (i.e. crawlspaces, basements, gutters). They will also be found in grass areas.

MOSQUITO CONTROL METHOD

Prevention:

1. Dispose old tires, cans, buckets, bottles, or any containers that can hold water.

2. Fill in with dirt or drain any low places in the yard.

3. Keep drains, ditches free of weeds and trash so that water can be drained properly.

4. Keep gutters clean

5. Cover trash cans to keep out water

6. Repair leaky pipes

7. Change water in bird baths and plant pots at least once a week.

8. Fix screen on windows and doors; make sure they are tightly fitted.

You will need to do a constant mosquito control. You can use a repellent (DR.T'S MOSQUITOES REPELLENT), aerosol (V ONE PYRETHRUM, V CLEAN-OUT FOGGER, PRO CONTROL PLUS FOGGER, PRO CITRA DL BOTANICAL INSECTCIDE ), and liquid spray (MASTERLINE BIFENTHRIN , ARCHER IGR - 1 PINT, DEMON WP) using a hand sprayer (CHAPIN 1 GALLON SPRAYER), IGR (MOSQUITO DUNKS), prevents mosquitoes from growing and it stops their reproduction, and a fogger (ECOEXEMPT MC MISTING CONCENTRATE & EMULSIFIER ) you can use this with (VERSATILE ULTRA LOW VOLUME FOGGER, PROPANE INSECT FOGGER). For outdoor control, we suggest that you use a repellent (DR.T'S MOSQUITOES REPELLENT) or a liquid spray (MASTERLINE BIFENTHRIN , ARCHER IGR - 1 PINT, DEMON WP) using a hand sprayer with a mist nozzle tip (CHAPIN 1 GALLON SPRAYER). When using the repellent, you will sprinkle directly out of the container onto your lawn. The repellent will repel the mosquitoes away from your treated area. Repellents have a short term effect. When using the liquid spray, use the amount instructed on the label, spray on your whole entire lawn, large turf, and other landscape areas. You can place the IGR (MOSQUITO DUNKS) into a pond or places where mosquitoes lay their eggs and it will prevent them from growing and laying eggs. When you are using the fogger (ECOEXEMPT MC MISTING CONCENTRATE & EMULSIFIER ) you can use this with (VERSATILE ULTRA LOW VOLUME FOGGER, PROPANE INSECT FOGGER), you will need to be careful. Remember to wear goggles, gloves, and a mask. Do not spray when there is a lot of wind. Foggers and mist is only for a short time effect. You will need to follow the instructed directions on the label and spray the lawn. For indoor treatment, you can used the aerosols (V ONE PYRETHRUM, V CLEAN-OUT FOGGER, PRO CONTROL PLUS FOGGER, PRO CITRA DL BOTANICAL INSECTCIDE ), and spray them around your window and door frames after the application you will have to vacant the room for about 3 hours. Using the liquid spray (MASTERLINE BIFENTHRIN, ARCHER IGR - 1 PINT, DEMON WP) with a pinpoint nozzle, treat the crawl spaces and basements.
