Poor triger plate design
The trap is strong enough but the plate in the trap has a straight rod through the bottom of it tat allows the plate to pivot this allows the plate to be pushed down aginst the floor without triping the latch. So far most of the bait has been removed without catching the squirrel.

We safely re caught our pet rabbit that wandered away in our back yard. It was safe and easy to use.

humane traps
We had a particularly unfriendly stray cat make a home in our basement one year ago. It must’ve gotten in through a window which had been broken during a storm and then couldn’t get out. It would just howl and hiss at us if we tried to get close. We didn’t know what to do until a friend of ours suggested using a Live Animal Trap. We baited it with some food and set it up in the basement. The cat must’ve been rather hungry because we caught it the next day. It was really the easiest solution to a rather vexing problem.

We had a gopher tearing up our yard. It was really driving us crazy. We tried everything we could think of to get rid of it and nothing worked. I guess gophers are smarter than we give them credit for. Anyway, we bought and set a live animal trap and we had that gopher caught within the week. We called animal control and the guy told us that it was nice to see people using a live trap when other people just poison these creatures. Great product Pestmall, I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I live in Cleveland Ohio and we have a lot of skunks in our neighborhood, Although they smell really bad i do not want them to be harmed in any way so Ive been getting some help from my neighbor in relocating these animals to a different area. Its really light weight and easy to carry around

Q. squirrel traps
What is the gauge of the wire and the weight of the squirrel trap?
A.   When you are referring to the "gauge", are you inquiring about the thickness of the wire or the size of the square holes on the live squirrel trap? Also, the actual weight of the trap is 3 lbs. 7 oz. but after package, it may weigh about 4 lbs. 5 oz.

Q. rabbits. I have at least a zillion in my garden.
I don't think I can catch them one by one, but in any case, if I even got a few, where do you recommend I release them? I'm on an island, btw, about 8 miles around. So what's their range? How far away would they have to be to make any difference? Is it -- um, humane, to drown them? They have basically no predators on the island. There are a few coyote sightings a year, and we once saw a large crow do away with a baby rabbit (heartbreaking, actually) but I'm a serious gardener and they're really wreaking havoc this year.
A.   Unfortunately, they will most likely return if you release them any more than 15 miles. Therefore, the best way would be to get off the island and release them.

Q. live animal trap for rabbit
Hi there, received the trap I bought from you and Im trying to trap a rabbit in my back yard. I have used apples but not luck. Do you mind recommending some bait that you have had luck with to catch a rabbit? Thanks for the help and the trap!
A.   As stated by the manufacturer, it is said that fresh vegetable, grained cereal, and nuts are good baits for rabbits.
