Pesky carpinter ants
I cut away a little siding to get as close as I could to the the hub of the differant ant paths. It took applications over several days, but I think I got them all. Only product I'v found that really will kill carpinter ants. I would recomend Maxforce.

I have been trying to get rid of the ants from my home with different insecticides for months. But it was of no use in the end as the ants’ population did not decrease in the slightest. Maxforce Ant Bait has very smoothly turned the ants’ way of collecting food against them. Even if just one ant finds the bait, then it would all the others and passes the food onto the rest f the colony and then the queen. After the queen ant is dead there are no more eggs produced and the ant population starts to diminish as the survivors also start dying. Highly recommended.

I am a pet lover and have 2 cats and cats are very curious little animals. Applying this product is so easy that is why I always buy this. I just remove the cap from the tip and stroke the tip to the surface. Depress the plunger and apply 1 gram of gel per spot. Apply gel to infested areas and ant trails. After 3 to 5 days, all those crawling ants are dead.

I never knew that there were so many species of ants until I moved to the country side. There were hundreds of ants and I absolutely hated it. Definitely effective!

In a matter of a few days in early spring, my appartment was filled with ants (I killed over 15 in and hour...yuck). I tryed the small ant hotel traps, which of course did not do anything because the wanted you to know where the ants were coming from. I never saw an entry or exit point for the ants making this impossible. After placing about 5 drops of this on 15 small pieces of cardboard and distributing the cardboard aroung the appartment it became very exident where the ants were coming from (the poorly carpeted stairs up the my loft). Once i found their entry hole, I add more maxforce bait gel all around. I was really impressed with this product. The packaging said it was made for "sweet eating ants", but it seemed to work for mine.
