Maxforce Ant Bait Gel- 1 Tube
Maxforce Ant Bait is formulated for fast and effective control of household ants. The product takes advantage of trophallaxis in ants to decimate ant populations. Trophallaxis is the behavior ants, bees and other social insects where they transfer food and fluids among colony members. Once worker ants gather the bait, it is passed on to other members and eventually the queen. Egg production stops once the queen ant is dead and ant numbers gradually decrease as the bait spreads to survivors.

Directions for Use
To apply the product, remove the cap from the tip and touch the tip to the surface. Depress the plunger and apply 1 gram of gel per spot. Apply gel to infested areas and ant trails indoors and outdoors. Place gel in small amounts in spaces between construction members, cracks, crevices, voids and hollow spaces in walls, floors, ceilings, windows and doors, cabinets, along pipes and other ant entry/exit sites. Do not apply to surfaces treated with repellent insecticides or in surfaces that are routinely washed. Do not apply bait to hot surfaces and equipment such as hot water pipes and stoves for the gel may run. Do not apply bait to surfaces used in processing/handling food/feed. Applications in food handling areas is limited to crack and crevice treatments only. Repeat treatments as necessary. Inspect and replace baits every 2 weeks or as needed.
This product may be used in the Bait Tray.
Where to Apply
Maxforce Ant Bait Gel is for use in and around food/feed and non-food/feed areas of residential, commercial, agricultural, institutional and industrial buildings and modes of transport such as buses, ships, trains, trailers and aircraft.

Depress the plunger and apply 1 gram of gel per spot. Apply gel to infested areas and ant trails. After 3 to 5 days, all those crawling ants are dead.

I tryed the small ant hotel traps, which of course did not do anything because the wanted you to know where the ants were coming from. I never saw an entry or exit point for the ants making this impossible. After placing about 5 drops of this on 15 small pieces of cardboard and distributing the cardboard aroung the appartment it became very exident where the ants were coming from (the poorly carpeted stairs up the my loft). Once i found their entry hole, I add more maxforce bait gel all around. I was really impressed with this product. The packaging said it was made for "sweet eating ants", but it seemed to work for mine.

A. Yes. As stated in the product label, if Maxforce Ant Bait Gel is exposed to higher temperatures (above 800F) for extended periods of time, the gel will change its color, melt in formulation and lose its effectiveness.

Q. Maxforce FC Killer Ant Bait Gel
I am having a terrible time with the little grease ants in my kitchen.
Usually Raid ant baits work...nothing.
I purchased Terro baits and it doesn't appear to be working.
I have asthma and have to use baits as opposed to sprays.
What do you recommend? Thanks
A. The Maxforce FC Ant Bait Gels that you were
looking at will be very effective for the ants that you are having a problem
with. You squeeze out a pea-sized gel bait ball every 1/2 a foot - foot
apart. The baits have a delay-kill effect and so the ants will intake the
bait and bring it back to their colony. This is not a spray or a fogger so it
will be okay for your asthma. If you have any further questions or comments,

I just received my order of "Maxforce Ant Bait Gel- (4 Tubes),ant Poison,ant Pest Control Products, Kill Ant". I thought I had ordered Maxforce Carpenter Ant Bait. Are these two products the same? If not I would like to request and exchange.
