The Maxforce destroyed the ants in about 3 days. I had a resurgance in a few days, a second round wiped them out completely. I found dosing frequently to be the most effective. I put fresh bait out twice per day the second time for 2 days and they were all killed. Very pleased with product.

Excellent product. My only suggestion is to lay it in larger amount than the directions suggest. We tried the drops they suggested first, but didn't get much response. Next, we laid the possion in strips and suddenly we had ants everywhere eating the stuff up. Now we haven't seen a carpenter ant in weeks. AWESOME!

After we took down a tree in our back yard, we had an abundance of carpenter ants- obviously we disrupted a nest. Applied the bait and then it rained for a few days *Oregon weather* so no results. Reapplied when there was a few days of sun and watched the biggest ants wander in circles and die. Obviously they took enough bait back to kill the nest as the next time the sun came out, the ants did not! I have a second tube on hand just in case, but it does not look like we will need it.

Can't believe how fast it worked!
I can't believe how fast this worked on the pesky carpenter ants. I put it out and for the first time saw where they were coming from since they were marching to it in broad daylight. I put more near the nest. It was a feeding frenzy. More and more ants came out to feed on the gel. Although I felt like a cruel murderer, the feelings didn't last long as ALL the ants were dead within two days! Buy this product (make sure it's the carpenter ant bait gel and not their other product of ant bait gel).

I had been troubled by carpenter ants a lot. Whenever I would go out of the house I would see lots of ants in the porch and I didn’t like it. Maxforce Carpenter Ant Bait Get is the greatest! I could never ask for more. Fipronil is a slow acting poison that is why it’s not just an ant but colonies of it are killed due to the reason that ants have the chance to bring this gel inside the colony allowing others to eat the gel.

This stuff, Maxforce carpenter ant bait, is incredible...It takes a little while to work (about a week or two until the disappear), but in the end No more ants. it works & its simple!

It works! After a week I don't see any of them around in our house. even though I never seen any carpenter ants around the bait. It attracts the smaller ant as well.
