Maxforce Fire Ant Killer Granular Bait is the key bait in killing the imported fire ant queen of the colony. Maxforce Fire Ant Killer Granular Bait contain two separate part, the food part and hydramethylon. Hydramethylon in Maxforce Fire Ant Killer Granular Bait is a delayed action stomach poison. When the working fire ant come across the bait they will first eat the bait, the delayed action will allow the ants to carry the Maxforce Fire Ant Killer Granular Bait back to the colony exposing all the other pest before dying. Targeting the our main point the queen of the colony. You will see a decreased amount of ants as soon as the Maxforce Fire Ant Killer Granular Bait Granular is spread out and for 2-4 weeks for a complete result.

Useful Tips You Should Know:

When applying Maxforce Fire Ant Killer Granular Bait its best if the soil temperature is greater the 60 degrees.
Best if used in Spring or Fall.
Do NOT apply directly to the mounds, distribute baits around them (recommended to use .5- 1 ounce/ mound)

Application Directions

BROADCAST APPLICATIONS: Make broadcast applications of this product to turfgrass to control existing active imported fire ant populations. Apply when ants are actively looking for food; this is typically in the morning or evening. Do not apply Maxforce FC Fire Ant Bait immediately before or after irrigation or rain. Fire ants will begin to die from a proper treatment in about 14 days. Do not reapply for 3-6 weeks.

MOUND APPLICATIONS: Shake the granules uniformly around the mound, but do not disturb the mound. Broadcast the granules in a circle about 4 or 5 feet in diameter with the mound being the center of the circle. Apply when ants are actively looking for food; this is typically in the morning or evening. Do not apply Maxforce Fire Ant Bait immediately before or after irrigation or rain. Fire ants will begin to die from a proper treatment in about 14 days. Do not reapply for 3-6 weeks.
