Directions for Use

MotherEarth Granular Bait is a ready-to-use product for general surface, crack and crevice or spot applications. Apply the bait only in areas inaccessible to children and pets. Use the product as directed by the product label.

FOR CONTROL OF PESTS ON LAWNS, ORNAMENTAL TURF, FIELDS, GREENS AND GOLD COURSES: Using a mechanical spreader, apply to affected areas at the rate of 2 lbs. per 1,000 square feet or 90 lbs. per acre.

FOR EXTERIOR BAITING OF ANTS AND CARPENTER ANTS: Apply to exterior perimeter areas in a band measuring 2 to 4 feet in width at the rate of 4 to 6 oz. per 100 square feet. Also apply the product around trees, firewood piles, stumps, ant trails and other areas where ants may nest or travel. Apply 1/2 to 1 oz. to ant mounds and infested tree/stump cavities.

TO CONTROL ANTS, COCKROACHES, CRICKETS, and SILVERFISH IN AND AROUND HOMES: Spread the product evenly to treatment areas at the rate of 4 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. Treat areas where insects are prevalent. Apply to cracks and crevices, voids, crawlspaces, attics, cellars, warehouses, garages and basements. Concentrate treatments along walls and baseboards. The product may be placed in bait stations. For crack and crevice treatments, use hand dusters and apply at a rate of 4 to 6 puffs per linear foot.

FOR EXTERIOR PERIMETER TREATMENTS: Spread bait evenly at the rate of 6 oz per 100 sq. ft. and treat a band of soil at least 2 feet wide around foundations, patios, driveways, sidewalks, entrances, landcape lighting, flower beds, leaf litter, trash cans, wood piles and refuse areas.
