Niban Granular Bait - 4 lbs.

A great alternative to synthetic insecticides, Niban Granular Bait is a borate product that controls pests without the risks posed by other insecticides. Naturally-occurring borates have long been known to have insecticidal properties, used mainly to kill ants, cockroaches and termites. Niban contains 5% Orthoboric Acid, a potent stomach poison and an exoskeleton abrasive. Excellent for residual treatments, Niban is moisture-resistant, odorless and long lasting.

Directions for Use

Niban is a ready-to-use product that can be used in broadcast, spot or crack and crevice applications. Apply using hand operated spreaders, mechanical spreaders dusters or similar application equipment. Apply only as directed in the product label. Do not contaminate with other insecticides. The product may be used in bait stations. Keep children and pets away from treatment areas.

FOR CONTROL OF PESTS ON LAWNS, ORNAMENTAL TURF, PLAYING FIELDS, PARKS AND GOLF COURSES: Apply evenly to treatment areas using mechanical spreaders at the rate of 2 lbs. per 1,000 square feet or 90 lbs. per acre. For best results, irrigate treatment areas prior to applications and apply late in the afternoon.

FOR EXTERIOR BAITING: Treat exterior perimeter areas of structures by making a band 2 to 4 feet wide. Also apply to wood piles, trees, stumps, tree cavities and other areas where pests are present. Apply 1/2 to 1 pound of the product to ant trails, mounds and infected cavities.

FOR CONTROL OF PESTS IN AND AROUND BUILDINGS: For interior applications, apply at the rate of 4 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. Spread evenly in sites where insects typically hide such as crawlspaces, attics, basements, baseboards, cracks, crevices, voids and other areas where insect activity is present.

FOR PERIMETER TREATMENTS: Treat areas around foundations, exterior walls, flower beds, sidewalks, driveways, wood piles, refuse areas, landscape lighting, street lamps, leaf litter and trash cans. Apply bait uniformly at the rate of 6 oz. per 100 sq. ft. in a band at least 2 feet wide.
