Nuvan ProStrips - a Package of 12 Strips with 12 Cages
Nuvan ProStrips are highly effective control devices in treating enclosed spaces such as attics, garages, sheds and crawlspaces. Nuvan's is a broad label product that targets several crawling and flying insects. Once activated, odorless vapor is released from the strips, filling enclosed treatment areas with a powerful insecticide that kills pest on contact. Easy-to-use and cost effective, each strip keeps rooms free of pesky pests for 4 months.
Why Should You Use?
Nuvan Strips are ideal for treating enclosed and tight spaces where treatments are difficult. Nuvan's vapors penetrate deep into voids, eliminating hiding pests.

Directions for Use
Remove strips from the sealed bag. Place strips in treatment locations, keeping them away from children and pets as much as possible. The use of Nuvan in food/feed handling areas and establishments is restricted. Place strips in barns, animal buildings, attics, crawlspaces, closets, cupboards, storage units, trash bins, pest traps, utility boxes and other areas where pests are seen. Place traps near produce and agricultural commodities such as corn, peanuts, grains and similar materials. Nuvan ProStrips are very effective in controlling bed bugs and bed bug eggs. Place strips in areas where bed bugs are found such as bedrooms or living rooms. Move infected objects such as shoes, plush toys, books in plastic bags or in containment rooms for treatment. Seal treatment areas with tape or twist ties to prevent pests from escaping. Keep the items in containment for a minimum of 48 hours. Exercise caution when removing treated items from containment bags or rooms. Move treated items to well ventilated areas. Do not exceed the number of strips recommended. Do not use this product in areas where people will be present for extended periods.
Where to Apply
Use Nuvan ProStrips inside homes, animal buildings, milk rooms, agricultural commodities, catch basins, utility boxes, terrariums, museums and other household, commercial and industrial eastablishments.

Almost impossible to find these small insect strips. I put them in storage boxes in the attic rather than mothballs. I've been storing the unused strips in the orginal foil, wrapped with freezer foil, and that seems to keep them going for a year.

I am really not familiar on how to eliminate flying and crawling insects and pests so what I did is asked my mom (again) on what to do. She then said that I had t use Nuvan Prostips to help me kill pests and prevent them from reproducing. But the problem is that she wasn’t sure with the site on where she purchased the product. So I searched the internet and typed Nuvan Prostrips and I was in high spirits when I was able to see this Pest mall site. I registered and ordered right away. After a few days, the product was delivered. Thank you so much for this product Pest mall and I will remind my mom about this site. ;)

Had an infestation in my house following a trip to Puerto Villarta. They were in clothes, beds, etc. Exterminators could spray and get rid of them in house, but belongings INFESTED, Used the Nuvan strips for clothes and items in the house while pest control sprayed, etc. The Nuvan Prostrips in plastic bags treated items they could not spray.
Our exterminator suggested putting them in each suitcase after returning from each trip to ensure no more infestations.
Is it possible to put several of the 12 in individual packages as they don't last outside the foil or is there a way to preserve unused ones?

I made sure to seal the spaces so that the vapor couldn't get out but we popped a stripped in there and kept monitoring for awhile. Nuvan worked great and worked super fast. We were able to go on the trip as planned.

But thats because this product is some powerful stuff! It really works! I used it for moths, but I definitely think that this can be used for a lot more than just moths.

Of course, roaches are a little bit more distasteful but the silverfish were really bad. I used Nuvan to really knock them out and now I don't have silverfish! YAY and no more crickets or roaches either!

After a couple months of battle bed bugs, I found that they were even hiding in my children's toys. They went to school and I just stuck some of the toys in a bag with the strip! I did that with some other materials around my house. It's great!

Q. nuvan strips and usage
Can you use nuvan strips in the kitchen? If not, why? If yes, what food is safe?
How fast will they work? Had bedbugs, exterminator came and did 2 applications, spray and hot steam vapor. I'm just paranoid and would like piece of mind so i'm looking into these nuvan strips to hand in each room and closet of my house. Kitchen as well.
A. Hello,
Thank you for posting your question. The Nuvan ProStrips are not recommended for use in the kitchen. The reason being, it is a product that emits a chemical vapor. Therefore, we do not recommend using it in food handling areas, except in cupboards.
We do not recommend using it in areas where people will have prolonged exposure. If it is an empty house, it is safe to use anywhere, however, it is most commonly used in small areas such as closets, garages, cupboards, drawers, cabinets, attics, wardrobes, etc. You may refer to the product detail for more information.
The Nuvan ProStrips are an excellent product for the control of bed bugs. Bed bugs, being one of the hardest pest to get rid of, we recommend taking any precaution and doing the treatment for bed bugs consistently.

Q. What do I do with the strips I don't need to use after I've already opened a foil pack?
A. To optimize the effectiveness of Nuvan Prostrips, it's best to use the strips once the foil packet has been opened. The foil packet maybe re-sealed to prolong the useful life of unused Nuvan Prostrips. Once applied Nuvan Prostrips will remain effective for up to four months however, if not thoroughly sealed, the useful life of the Nuvan Prostrips may be diminished.

Q. Nuvan ProStrips -kill bed bugs
we've had bed bugs for a while and can't seem to get rid of them. Is this product guarenteed? does it work fast? or do i have to wait a couple of months? thank you
A. Nuvan ProStrips though is known to be a powerful insecticide for many crawling insects including bed bugs. When you are using it though, it is best used when it is left in an air tight, sealed bag for at least 1-2 days.

Can Nuvan ProStrips be used in the bedroom for bed bugs? Do you need to vacate the room while the product is being used? Does it pose any treat to humans if it is in the room?
A. Nuvan Prostrips can only be used in areas or in items that are small and confined such as closets, cupboards, storage boxes, or sealed bags. They are not for use in bedrooms or common areas like bathrooms, living spaces, and etc. Please refer to the product label and the MSDS label for more information on how to use the Nuvan ProStrips.

Q. How long will the effects of Nuvan ProStrips Last? Are there other sizes available?
A. Activated Nuvan ProStrips lasts for up to four months. Nuvan ProStrips are available in 16 grams (0.56 oz), 10.5 grams (0.37 oz) and 5.25 grams (0.19 oz).

Q. nuvan strips and usage
Somewhat confused. If its ok to use in cupboards (which are in food handling areas) whats the difference if I hang it in the middle of my kitchen? Can I take some action like sealing any open food packages? Will canned product be affected too?
I'm looking to maybe leave my house for 2-3 days and have these strips hang in every room and closet. Is this a good idea?
A. Hello,
As long as the house is empty then it should be fine. Its odorless and so you would not be able to notice the presence of the vapor so it is recommended that you air out the home upon return.

what effect do the vapors have on humans who sleep/use the bedrooms which house the closets with our clothes?
A.
The product label on the Nuvan Prostrips does state that it is hazardous to humans, so we do not advise prolonged exposure to the vapors. As for the eggs, the Nuvan Prostrips can not them.

A. Absolutely not. This product must only be used in air-tight sealable bags or in vacant rooms or buildings.

Q. Will Nuvan strips kill clothes moth eggs and larvae?
We have clothes moths in our bedroom closet. An exterminator recommended hanging a Nuvan strip in the closet and closing the door for a week. Will this kill the moth eggs and larvae in our closet and clothes?
Also, will our clothes be safe to wear after treatment?
A. The strips can be left in the closet, but it has to be sealed in. If there are vents, you should not have the air flowing from the closet to other rooms. Also, it takes about 2 weeks for the strips to totally dissipate the vapor. It will kill larvae and if the eggs hatch, it will kill them immediately. The clothes must be washed after the treatment. Q. Is Nuvan ProStrips safe to use around pets?
A. Yes, Nuvan ProStrips contains 18.6% of 2,2-dichlorovonyl dimethyl phosphate (DVDP), a highly volatile organophospate. It acts against insects as both a contact and stomach poison. DVDP is also use to treat variety of parasitic worm infections in dogs, livestock and humans.
