Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
Phantom Ternitcide is as a secondary method. Phantom is the only undetectable liquid termite control that has met New York's stringent environmental requirements and gained state registration. Phantom has a very low water solubility, which means it binds very tightly to soil and is less likely to be washed out of treated areas, and its active ingredient (chlorfenapyr) is applied at a low dose. Phantom has virtually no odor, which means you and your family won't notice a thing. Phantom's unique way of killing pest that have come in contact with the treated as well as ones that have not come indirect contact. The exposure can start with contact, grooming, and food exchange. Phantom's secondary kill action uses only a low doese and is a primary contributor to both phantom's incredible performance and its ability to control entire pest populations. Phantom is best known not only for its ability to control, manage and kill termites by ingestion and contact both, but also a greatly effective insecticide for ants and conckroaches as well. Phantom is highly effective in a long term, not repel target pests and superior control even at a low doses. Phantom can be applied ouside in soil areas and also crack and crevice indoor as well.

In order to maximize the termite potency of Phantom Termiticide in post construction treatments it should be applied in manner to provide a continuous chemical barrier to prevent termites from attacking the wood to be protected. Phantom Termiticide shall be used as a post- construction treatment only. Application as a pre-construction treatment is not permitted.
The objective of soil treatments with Phantom Termiticide is to establish a treated barrier (horizontal and/or vertical as needed) between the wood and other cellulose material in the structure and the termite populations in the soil. Treatment standards for subterranean termite control may vary due to state/ local regulations, treatment procedures, soil types, construction practices and other factors. Follow all federal, state, and local regulations, and treatment standards for protection of a structure from subterranean termites. Observe industry good management practices.
Use a 0.125% dilution of Phantom Termiticide for typical treatment situations. Use a 0.25% dilution of Phantom Termiticide when severe infestations occur.
Where aerial infestations or above-ground nests are detected within the structure, supplemental treatments to control termites in the structure, use of termite baits, and / or structural repairs to deprive the termites of a moisture source may be needed.
For advice concerning current control practices, consult resources in structural pest control, state cooperative extension or regulatory agencies.
General Directions for Soil Treatments:
Do not make treatment beneath slab or similar floorings until the locations of heat or air conditioning vents, water and sewer lines, and electrical lines/ conduits are known and identified. Use extreme cautions to avoid puncturing and contaminating these utilities.
For applications made after the final grade is installed, the applicator much trench and rod into the trench or trench along the foundation and around pillars and other foundation elements. at a rate prescribed from grate to the top of the footing. When footing is more that four (4) feet below grade, the applicator must trench and rod into the trench or trench along the foundation walls at the rate prescribed to a minimum depth of four (4) feet.
The actual depth of treatment will vary depending on soil type, degree of compaction, and location of termite activity. when the top of the footing is exposed, the applicator must treat the soil adjacent to the footing to a depth not to exceed the bottom of the footing: dig a trench alongside the footing taking care not to undermine the footing. However, in no case should a structure be treated below the footing.
Structures with wells/ cisterns inside foundations: Do not apply Phamton Termiticide within 5 feet of any well or cistern rodding and / or trenching or by the backfill method only. Infested and / or damaged wood should be replaced or repaired.
Structures with adjacent wells/ cisterns and/ or other bodies of water
