MGK's Riptide ULV provides control of common pests in residences, animal housing facilities and warehouses. Riptide is formulated with synergized Pyrethrins in a water-based solution designed for stability in misting systems. Riptide delivers efficient effective control of crawling and flying insects without oil-related issues caused by oil-based ULV products. No other product provides fast knockdown and high mortality rate than Riptide.

Riptide is economical and convenient than oil-based ULV concentrates.

Directions for Use

Remove all pets and exposed food in areas to be treated. Cover aquariums, food processing surfaces and utensils before treatments and wash before reusing. Apply only as directed. Carefully read the product label for precautions, dilution tables and application instructions.

Use the product as a contact or space spray using aerosol generators, foggers adjusted to deliver aerosol droplets. Close rooms to be treated and shut off all air conditioning and venting equipment. Direct spray upwards towards the ceiling and upper room corners. Apply at the rate of 1/2 to 2 fl. ozs. per 1,000 cu. ft. of space. Vacate treated area and leave room closed for about an hour. Ventilate treated rooms before occupying.

When using as a surface spray, dilute 1 to 3 fluid ounces of Riptide with one gallon of water. Apply as a coarse, low pressure spray to surfaces. Apply one gallon of mixture per 750 square feet of surface. Spray to cracks, crevices, voids, walls, floors, areas around drains, sinks, garbage bins, pipes, and under refrigerators, appliances, machinery and equipment. Contact insects as much as possible.

Treat animals using a spray solution having 1 part concentrate per 49 parts water. Apply 2 fluid ounces as a light mist, per adult animal. Treat animal quarters by following the space spray directions.

For automatic ULV spraying systems, mix 64 ounces of Riptide in 55 gallons of water. Partially applicator tank with water then add the appropriate amount of concentrate. Add the remaining volume of water and agitate to ensure an even mixture. Double the amount of concentrate for heavy infestations. Nozzles should be calibrated for a delivery rate not exceeding 1.25 ounces of solution per minute. Each nozzle should cover 100 square feet. Set the timer accordingly, keeping in mind not to activate the equipment if humans, pets and food are around the vicinity of treatment areas. Direct the nozzles away from water sources, pools and other bodies of water containing fish and other organisms.
