Q. foggers for roaches
We're renting a house we initially used foggers in the attic, crawl space, as well as inside the house before we moved in. But within 4 -6 weeks the cockroaches come back. I keep an imaculate kitchen and vacuum every other day. About 3 weeks ago decided to try a different route and purchased Niban, but they are still coming inside (about 3 per night). Most of them are moving slowly and appear to be dying. We have sprayed insecticide around all the base board etc. Also, we have sealed off around pipes and crevices.
Should we use something in conjunction with Niban? How long does it take for Niban to kill them once they ingest the product. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!
A. I wonder if you have applied Niban in the same places that you have sprayed the insecticide. If you haven't, then that is good. But if you have, then the Niban is ineffective because it is no longer an attractive bait to the roaches. We suggest using Dupont Advion Roach Gel Bait. You can spray the insecticide all along the baseboards, under the stove and fridge, under and behind furniture and along the bottome of the door frame. You should keep the spray down low. You can then apply the gels up high. High will be virtually any place you have not applied the insecticide. You should apply the gel bait under the sink on the pipe and in the corners, underneath the cabinets in the kitchen, behind the toilet and under the sinks in the bathrooms, and even on utility lines of the laundry machines in the laundry room.
Q. What do I do?
we have bought two cans of the phantom I believe its called and for the first two days we did not see one roach.day three I turn on the bathroom and kitchen light and they scatter everywhere.we have cleaned from top to bottom.we have sprayed in the attic.does it take awhile for all the roaches to die?I mean why did they disappear and then COME BACK?Please tell me what I can do,they will not go away.
A. Phantom Aerosol or aerosol products in general are a good clean out product but does not have much long term effects. It is best to use a bait product like Dupont Advion Roach Bait Gel or Maxforce FC Magnum Roach Bait Gel. If they are the smaller German roaches, then we also recommend the supplement of using pre-baited bait stations like Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations or Dupont Advion Roach Bait Arenas. If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact us again.
Q. does roach spray work
i have a extermely bad infestation of roaches and they are resistant to alot of the stuff but i'm limited on funds what spray would be best?
A. Roach control will really depend on what type of roaches are infesting your home. If you are dealing with German Roaches, you should use a bait type which is the most effective. Especially for resistent roaches, the Dupont Advion Roach Bait Gel will be the most effective. If you are applying a spray for outdoor roaches, we recommend Phantom Liquid Concentrate Spray. The two (bait and spray) can be used in conjunction with each other but they cannot be applied in the same areas at all.
Q. best way to get rid of roaches
For the last two month The roaches have gotten bad..... I have a dog and Im kind of scared on what to use around her can u help....Did I forget to mention I have a newborn grandson.
Although liquid concentrates and liquid sprays are effective as a contact kill method of treatment, roaches also breed nearby the home in nests that are hard to locate or even treat.
This is why baits will be the most effective method of control for roaches. Bait gels or bait stations can be used like the Alpine Roach Gel or the Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations.
Think of the baiting method of kill as a domino effect. One roach is contaminated with the bait poison and when it dies near the nest, other roaches will feed on the dead carcass and share the poison that way. Roach gels can be applied in inaccessible areas by small children or pets like under or behind the toilet, under the sink, behind appliances, on top of counters, and etc.
The bait stations are tamper free so they can be placed in more open areas both indoor and outdoor.
i got rent houses that i have to go into and spray for roaches, but this house is infested with thousands of roaches, ive bombed and sprayed 8 times, and i mean heavily, ive used bifon, viper, and egg control but they just keep comeing, the hose is completely empty and cold. is thier sumething that comes in a consatratet that i can mix in a sprayer that will finally get rid of them, ps, thier not near as bad as they was.its like thier getin used to what ive been useing.
A. We recommend using Suspend SC or Demon WP in conjunction with Gentrol IGR on the outside perimeter of the house. Suspend SC is a liquid concentrate and Demon WP is a wet-able powder. Either product must be diluted with water before application and both products have a residual time of about 2-3 months outdoors.
