How to Applying Dust Insecticide

Alpine Dust Insecticide is a direct contact insecticide in powder form. Like other Alpine products, the dust insecticide contains the non-repellent insecticide Dinotefuran. Alpine Dust Insecticide is tested and proven to control ants, cockroaches, bed bugs, beetles, fleas, moths, spiders, flies, wasps, millipedes and centipedes.

Directions for Alpine Dust Insecticide Use

Product can be applied by hand or by the use of dusters and other similar equipment to ensure uniform applications. Spread the product evenly on to infested areas following the recommended application rates found in the product label. Apply 0.15 to 0.30 oz. of the product per square yard of surface area.

For perimeter applications, sprinkle the product around insect entry holes such as structural cracks and crevices, window sills, patios, porches and other areas where insects have access to the building.

How to Apply Dust Insecticide

Why Should You Use Delta Dust?

Unlike other dust insecticides, Delta Dust stays dry and effective and remains so for eight long months.

Directions for Delta Dust Use

Delta Dust should be applied uniformly over treatment areas using proper application equipment such as hand dusters, power dusters or paint brushes. Pay special attention to cracks and crevices, voids, under appliances, ducts, plumbing, attics, crawlspaces, baseboards and other sites frequented by pests.

Control listed pests by treating infested areas with Delta Dust at the rate of 2 to 3 grams per 1,000 square feet. Repeat treatments if necessary.

FOR CONTROL OF ANTS, BLACK CARPET BEETLES, BOXELDER BUGS, CENTIPEDES, COCKROACHES, CRICKETS, FLEAS, FIREBRATS, GROUND BEETLES, MILLIPEDES, SCORPIONS, SPIDERS SOWBUGS,SILVERFISH AND WEBBING CLOTHES MOTHS: Thoroughly apply the product to areas where these pests are known to frequent, breed, hide and congregate. Apply the product over ant trails and entry points such as windows and doors. Treat pet sleeping quarters, moist areas under sinks, under and behind refrigerators, inside cabinets and other known infestation sites of the above listed pests.

TERMITES, CARPENTER ANTS AND CARPENTER BEES: Apply the product through cracks and voids on wooden components damaged by wood-boring insects. Treat surfaces vulnerable to infestations such as foundations and walls. Holes may be drilled through damaged components in order to treat inaccessible tunnels and galleries inside. Use this product as a supplement to other treatments.

WASPS AND BEES: Wear protective clothing to avoid stings. It is recommended to treat nests late in the day where wasps/bees are generally less active. Uniformly apply Delta Dust over wasp/bee nests, entrances and their immediate surroundings. Drilling may be necessary to apply the product inside nests.

BEDBUGS: Delta Dust can be used together with other insecticides to treat bed bug infestations. Apply dust to folds and tufts of mattresses, headboards, footboards, springs, bed frames, cracks and spaces between components, furniture, upholsteries and other infested areas. Let the product settle for 4 to 6 hours and thoroughly vacuum treated areas afterwards.

How to Applying Dust Insecticide

Drione Dust - 1 lb.

Drione Dust provides contact kill and residual control of target pests in and around homes. A powerful combination of pyrethrins, synergists and desiccants makes Drione an excellent dust. A broad label product, Drion controls dozens of common house pests including pantry pests. When used as directed, residuals may last for 6 months if undisturbed.

Drione contains a combination desiccants and pyrethrins that dehydrates and poisons insects, killing them off in two lethal blows.

Directions for Use

Application of Drione is limited to crack and crevice treatments only. Using hand dusters, powered dusters or similar equipment, apply the product in cracks and crevices, voids, gaps between structural components, spaces under and behind appliances, inside cabinets and closets, under sinks, along plumbing, crawl spaces and other infested areas. Apply at the rate of 2 ounces per 100 square feet in kennels and animal quarters. For severe infestations, apply Drione at the rate of 16 ounces per 1000 square feet of surface area. TREATMENT OF STORED PRODUCT PESTS IN NON-FOOD/FEED AREAS: Before treatments, clean infested areas and remove infested materials, dirt and other debris. Apply at the rate of 16 to 24 ounces per 1,000 square feet of area. Thoroughly treat surfaces, floors, shelves, drawers, cabinets, cartons, containers in storage areas. Apply one ounce per 50 square feet into cracks and crevices, voids and other hard to reach areas.

INDOOR TREATMENT OF CRAWLING INSECTS: Apply EverGreen Dust at the rate of 1.5 oz. per 50 sq. ft. into cracks, crevices and voids where insects live and breed. Apply uniformly to areas under and behind sinks, refrigerators, stoves and washing machines, around garbage cans, cabinets, shelves, baseboards, door frames, drains, pipes and other sites where insects are seen. Treat crawlspaces and attics at the rate of 16 to 20 ounces per 1,000 square feet.

TREATMENT OF FLEAS, TICKS AND MITES: Remove pets from treatment areas. Thoroughly treat pet beddings, resting areas, sleeping quarters, kennels, carpets, rugs, furniture and other infected areas and their surroundings. Do not treat pets with this product.

TREATING BED BUGS: Take bed apart and apply EverGreen to bed frame, headboards and footboards at the rate of 2 oz. per 50 sq. ft. of surface area. Dust mattresses, cushions and furniture especially on folds, tufts and seams. Pay special attention to cracks and crevices between components, in walls, electrical boxes, appliances, picture frames, jambs, window sills, shelves, cabinets, curtains, blinds and their mounts.

PERIMETER TREATMENTS: Apply to a band of soil measuring 6 to 10 feet wide around and adjacent to structures and around foundations. Apply at the rate of 16 - 24 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. Treat exterior surfaces to a height of 2 to 3 feet.

CONTROLLING LAWN, LANDSCAPE AND ORNAMENTAL PESTS: Apply EverGreen Dust at the rate of 8 to 24 ounces per 1,000 square feet. Apply uniformly to lawn surface and to areas under shrubs and trees. Wait for the dust to settle before irrigating treated surfaces.

TREATMENT IN LIVESTOCK PREMISES AND DOMESTIC ANIMALS: Cover Apply to indoor and outdoor animal areas at the rate of 16 to 24 oz. per 1,000 square feet. Treat cracks and crevices, structural joints, floors, trusses, rafters, ceilings, gates and other areas harboring pests. Conduct perimeter treatments as stated above. Apply 1 to 2 ounces of dust per animal using appropriate application equipment. Apply to head, neck, shoulders, back and legs. Do not treat more than once every 10 days.
