Archer IGR is a powerful insect growth inhibitor which acts by disrupting the life cycles of pest insects. Archer IGR contains a growth inhibitor known as Pyriproxyfen. This active ingredient acts by preventing insects from developing into reproductive adults, to effectively control insect populations and infestations.

Archer IGR's formulation provides a residue that lasts for up to 7 months and does not break down in sunlight. When applied as directed, the product leaves no stains or odors.

Directions for Archer IGR Use

Archer IGR can be used for crack and crevice treatments, surface treatments and perimeter treatments. Use Archer IGR as directed in the product label. Please refer to the product label and MSDS sheets for application instructions and precautions.

For best results, Archer IGR should be applied using sprayers. Before applications, spray equipment should be thoroughly cleaned and checked for leaks.

Mix Archer IGR to water as recommended in the product label. Mix 2 fluid ounces of the product to a gallon of water to control ants, cockroaches and crickets. To control fleas, ticks, carpet beetles, dermestids and flying insects, mix one fluid ounce of Archer IGR to a gallon of water.

Shake well before using. Gentrol Aerosol is a ready-to-use pressurized spray for crack and crevice, spot and general surface applications. Treat commonly infested areas such as breeding grounds, wall voids, cracks and crevices, storage areas, plumbing, furniture, and other areas harboring/hiding insects. Directions for Use

Dilute 1 ounce of Gentrol IGR to 1 gallon of water. Fill applicator tanks 1/2 full of water before adding the product. Add the remaining volume of water and agitate the solution to ensure an even mixture. Gentrol may be tank mixed with compatible adulticides unless prohibited by the product label. Apply using spray or fogging equipment as a general surface, spot or crack and crevice spray. Apply solutions to treatment areas at the rate of 1 gallon per 1,500 square feet. For fogging applications apply at the rate of 1 ounce of Gentrol per 15,000 square feet. Treat infested areas, cracks, crevices, voids, baseboards, cabinets, furniture, breeding sites, hidings spots and other areas providing harborage to insects. Please refer to the product label for directions on how to conduct treatments in specific areas.

Gentrol Point Source is a revolutionary product from the makers of Gentrol IGR Concentrate and Gentrol Aerosol. Point Source is a device designed to broadcast Gentrol IGR to cockroach and pantry pest populations. Once activated, the active ingredient Hydropene is released into the air affecting roaches and other pests in its area coverage. Point Source covers approximately 75 square feet of surface area, eliminating the need of physical contact with the device.

Why Should You Use ?

Gentrol Point Source reduces pest populations in a way conventional insecticides can't. These devices do not require physical contact with pests for it to be effective. Each station remains effective for 3 months.

Directions for Use

Placement areas must be determined before activating Gentrol Point Source stations. Place the device in areas showing the presence of cockroaches and stored product pests. Areas of use include crawlspaces, under sinks and appliances, inside cabinets, drawers, cabinets, boxes, pantries attics, voids and other areas where pests are seen. Activate a station by pressing firmly the pouch located at the side of the device. Once a snapping sound is heard, the device is now ready for use. Install the devices in any orientation (vertical or horizontal) in treatment areas. For vertical placements, remove the backing protecting the adhesive surface located behind the station. Clean surfaces before placement to ensure proper adhesion. Install stations in areas that are inaccessible to children and pets. Replace stations every 3 months for continued effectiveness. When installing in food handling areas, stations must be placed at least 3 feet from any food handling/processing/preparation area. Please read the product label for more information.

Gentrol Point Source is labeled for use in buildings and modes of transportation. Areas of use include homes, apartments, restaurants, hotels, kitchens, laboratories, greenhouses, hospitals, office buildings, schools and warehouses. Oftentimes, insecticide applications are inadequate in reducing pest populations for they leave survivors. In order to increase the efficiency of applications, insect growth regulators such as Martin's IGR. Insect growth regulators inhibit an insect's ability to develop into adults, effectively reducing pest populations and preventing future infestations.

Why Should You Use?

Martin's IGR offers long term control of target pests in a way that other insecticides can't. IGRs such as Martins have long term effects of control than residual insecticides.

Directions for Use

Martin's IGR is a liquid concentrate intended for water dilutions for general surface, spot or crack and crevice applications. Existing adult fleas and pupae are NOT affected by the product. Compatible adulticides may be tank mixed with the product for immediate and broader control. Prepare diluted solutions as indicated in the product label. Apply as a coarse, low pressure spray using appropriate application equipment such as hand sprayers, power sprayers.

FOR CONTROL OF FLEAS: Prepare a diluted solution by mixing 1 ounce of Martin's per gallon of water. Fill applicator tanks half full with water and add the product. Agitate or stir to have an even mixture. Add the remaining volume of water and re-agitate the tank. Compatible insecticides may be used in conjunction with Martin's IGR for immediate control of adult fleas. Apply solutions at the rate of 1 gallon per 1,500 square feet of treatment area. Apply to areas harboring fleas such as carpets, rugs, furniture, pet sleeping quarters, kennels, dog houses and other areas where pets frequent. Remove pets and children from treated areas until spray has completely dried.

FOR ASIAN, GERMAN AND BROWN BANDED COCKROACH AND CRICKETS: Mix 2 ounces of Martin's IGR with 1 gallon of water. Cockroach/criket adulticides may be tank mixed for immediate control of adult cockroaches and crickets. Apply to infested areas such as cracks and crevices, spaces under sinks, under and behind appliances, near garbage cans, in and around cabinets, doors and window sills, along pipes, drains and plumbing using proper application equipment. Repeat treatments as necessary.

FOR OUTDOOR USE IN LAWNS, TREES AND ORNAMENTALPLANTS: Prepare a diluted solution by mixing 1 ounce of Martin's IGR in 5 to 15 gallons of water to cover 1,000 square feet of outdoor surfaces. Using hose-end sprayer, tank type sprayer or sprinkler cans, spray in a slow, even motion to treatment areas. Repeat applications every 21 days.

FOR PERIMETER TREATMENTS: Mix 1 ounce of IGR per gallon of water. Treat a band of soil measuring 2 to 4 feet in width around and adjacent to buildings.

How It Works

NyGuard's active ingredient is Pyriproxyfen, an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR), which is a juvenile hormone mimic (JHM). The naturally occurring juvenile hormone regulates and stimulates the developmental process of insects. High concentrations of juvenile hormone stimulate the molting process. The level of juvenile hormone then drops to low levels, which leads to normal maturation of the larvae (larva to pupa, pupa to adult, or nymph to adult molt).

NyGuard interferes with this synchronized balance of hormones during the molting process. Treatment with NyGuard introduces and maintains high concentrations of juvenile hormone mimic at critical points during the insect developmental process. Thus, normal maturation of larvae or nymphs is prevented. The result is the insect stays in an immature stage indefinitely. When this happens the insects with complete metamorphosis will continue to molt from larva to larva until it dies. Insects with incomplete metamorphosis will remain in nymph stage, or have morphological deformation, maturing into sterile, non-reproductive adults.

NyGuard disrupts the normal metamorphosis process of immature insects. Treatment with NyGuard will disrupt the growth, development and reproduction in many insect species in a manner that is environmentally acceptable. The biological results in the target insects are most commonly death or deformity with sterility.

NyGuard does not kill adult insects. For best results, use NyGuard in combination with an insecticide that will kill existing populations of insects. Once the active insect populations have been eliminated, NyGuard will remain to disrupt the maturation of eggs or other immature stages of the insect population.
