Indoor Applications

For space treatments, first calculate the size of the space to be treated. Turn off air conditioners and close all windows and doors and spray the enclosed area by directing the insecticide mist upwards. Spray at the rate of 1 to 3 seconds per 1000 cu. ft. of enclosed space and keep the area closed for at least 15 minutes for maximum effectiveness. Before reoccupying, ventilate the treated area.

For direct contact applications, place the injector tip at the can nozzle and spray on cracks and crevices frequented by insects. Spray at rates depending on applications. Spray additional amounts if necessary or when the infestation seems heavy. Please consult the Material Safety Data Sheet for the specifics.

Outdoor Applications

For outdoor treatments, spray only at wind speeds below 6 miles per hour. Repeat if necessary. Spray directly into mud dauber and wasp nests by holding the container 18" away.

Concentrations may be varied depending on applications such as infestation intensity or residue control. Mix and agitate the spray solution to ensure an even mixture before spraying.

Directions for CYNOFF EC Use

Cynoff EC is a concentrate that must be diluted in water for spray or brushing applications. Fill sprayer tanks half-full before adding the concentrate. Add the remaining volume of water and agitate the tank to ensure a uniform mixture. Depending on the target pest/s, solutions must have 0.1% to 0.2% active ingredient content. This can be made by mixing 1/2 fl. oz. of Cynoff with 1 gallon of water to produce solutions with 0.1% A.I. concentration. Doubling the amount of the concentrate yields solutions with 0.2% A.I. content.

Apply the product as a coarse, low pressure spray to infested areas and potential insect-harboring sites such as basements, attics, behind and under appliances, storage areas, cabinets, shelves, baseboards, under sinks and along plumbing. Pay particular attention to cracks, crevices and voids.

Using hand or power sprayers, apply the product by brush or residual spray to building surfaces, porches, window screens, patios, lawns and other grass areas to control outdoor insects.

For barrier treatments, create a band measuring 6 to 10 feet around structures to protect them from infestations. Apply the product as a coarse spray, at the rate of 1 gallon per 400 square feet. Also treat building foundations and other potential entry points to a height of 3 to 5 feet.

To control cluster flies, mix 1 fluid ounce of Cynoff to 10 fluid ounces of mineral oil. Apply to 1,000 square feet of wall area using fogging equipment.

Cynoff WP must be diluted in water for spray or brushing applications. The product comes with a plastic scoop with 0.33 oz. capacity. Use a full scoop of Cynoff WP per gallon of water to yield a solution having 0.1% of the active ingredient. Doubling the amount of the concentrate yields solutions with 0.2% active ingredient content. Depending on the target pest/s, solutions must have 0.1% to 0.2% active ingredient content.

Apply the product as a coarse, low pressure spray to infested areas and potential insect-harboring sites such as basements, attics, behind and under appliances, storage areas, cabinets, shelves, baseboards, under sinks and along plumbing. Pay particular attention to cracks, crevices and voids.

Using hand or power sprayers, apply the product by brush or residual spray to building surfaces, porches, window screens, patios, lawns and other grass areas to control outdoor insects.

For barrier treatments, create a band measuring 6 to 10 feet around structures to protect them from infestations. Apply the product as a coarse spray, at the rate of 1 gallon per 400 square feet. Also treat building foundations and other potential entry points to a height of 3 to 5 feet.

Note: EcoEXEMPT MC may be used in tankless systems or systems that utilize tanks. Always use the EcoEMULSIFIER with EcoEXEMPT MC. In tankless systems, EcoEMULSIFIER should be added at a 1:2 ratio to EcoEXEMPT MC. In systems that use tanks, EcoEMULISIFIER should be added at a 1:1 ratio to EcoEXEMPTMC in the diluted product, regardless of water content and tank size.

To control Mosquitoes, Gnats and Flies, dispense EcoEXEMPT MC with proper ratio of EcoEMULSIFIER as appropriate through automatic systems. Set nozzles to deliver appropriate product to provide desired protection based upon nozzle spacing, timing and frequency of applications, and specific equipment parameters. Locate nozzles as
appropriate to cover protected areas.

EcoEXEMPT MC may be used as a dilution in and around boat docks in misting systems to control spiders and other nuisance insects and as an aid in the elimination of their harborage areas. Since flying insects can migrate in and out of the treatment area, it is recommended to use this product as part of an Integrated Pest
Management (IPM) program. This includes, but is not limited to, eliminating breeding and harborage sites.

EcoEMULSIFIER is a unique blend of emulsifiers that is specifically designed to work with EcoEXEMPT MC Misting Concentrate to create and maintain a stable emulsion in systems using storage tanks, and enhance performance in tankless systems, for automatic misting systems.

Mixing:

EcoEMULSIFIER should be used with EcoEXEMPT MC at a 1:1 ratio in systems with tanks, regardless of water content and tank size. EcoEMULSIFIER should be used with EcoEXEMPT MC at a ratio of 1:2 in tankless systems. Refer to EcoEXEMPT MC label for use rates and mixing instructions. When filling storage tanks, fill half the tank with water, mix EcoEMULSIFIER with EcoEXEMPT MC at a 1:1 ratio in a pail, stir for 15-20 seconds, then add blended EcoEMULSIFIER and EcoEXEMPT MC to the storage tank, and fill the balance of the tank with water. Any agitation in the tank will maintain the microemulsion for longer periods. When using tankless systems mix the EcoEMULSIFIER with EcoEXEMPT MC at a 1:2 ratio in a pail and stir for 15 - 20 seconds then add blended EcoEMULSIFIER and EcoEXEMPT MC to the system holding receptacle.

How It Works

NyGuard's active ingredient is Pyriproxyfen, an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR), which is a juvenile hormone mimic (JHM). The naturally occurring juvenile hormone regulates and stimulates the developmental process of insects. High concentrations of juvenile hormone stimulate the molting process. The level of juvenile hormone then drops to low levels, which leads to normal maturation of the larvae (larva to pupa, pupa to adult, or nymph to adult molt).

NyGuard interferes with this synchronized balance of hormones during the molting process. Treatment with NyGuard introduces and maintains high concentrations of juvenile hormone mimic at critical points during the insect developmental process. Thus, normal maturation of larvae or nymphs is prevented. The result is the insect stays in an immature stage indefinitely. When this happens the insects with complete metamorphosis will continue to molt from larva to larva until it dies. Insects with incomplete metamorphosis will remain in nymph stage, or have morphological deformation, maturing into sterile, non-reproductive adults.

NyGuard disrupts the normal metamorphosis process of immature insects. Treatment with NyGuard will disrupt the growth, development and reproduction in many insect species in a manner that is environmentally acceptable. The biological results in the target insects are most commonly death or deformity with sterility.

NyGuard does not kill adult insects. For best results, use NyGuard in combination with an insecticide that will kill existing populations of insects. Once the active insect populations have been eliminated, NyGuard will remain to disrupt the maturation of eggs or other immature stages of the insect population.

Pay particular attention to cracks, crevices and voids in walls and floors. If necessary drill holes in damaged wooden structures to kill wood destroying insects. Treat outdoor surfaces at the rate of 1 gallon of mixture per 1,000 square feet.

Speckoz may be used as a space spray at the maximum dilution rate of 10 ounces of concentrate per gallon of oil. Apply using mechanical foggers capable of producing aerosol particles less than 30 microns. Before treatment, close all doors and windows in treatment area. Shut off air conditioning units and ventilating systems before proceeding. Direct spray into cracks and crevices, under and behind equipment and appliances, or dark harborage areas before commencing the space treatment. Suspend SC provides effective knockdown and long term residual control of over fifty pests. Very low usage rates makes the product safe to use in food handling areas, mattresses, furniture, cushions and other surfaces where sensitivity is an issue. Suspend SC residues have no odor or visible residues and will not damage surfaces where water alone causes no damage.

Suspend is more economical, flexible and effective compared to other concentrates.

Directions for Use

Mix Suspend with water following the dilution rates in the product label. Active ingredient concentration in solutions range from 0.01% to 0.06%, depending on the target pest/s. Apply using hand pressurized or power operated sprayers. Shake well before using. Partially fill applicator tanks 1/2 full with water before adding the proper amount of concentrate. Agitate the tank and add the remaining volume of water. Re-agitate to obtain a uniform mixture. The product may be tank mixed with currently registered pesticides and insect growth regulators unless prohibited by the product label. Solutions can be converted to foam used in treating structural voids. Mix Suspend SC with a foaming agent following the mixing instructions as indicated in the foaming agent label.

Use finished solutions for crack and crevice, spot and surface treatments indoors. Use 0.25 to 1.5 ounces of Suspend per gallon of water to treat 1,000 square feet of surface. Apply as a coarse low pressure spray to cracks, crevices, voids and other sites where insect live, feed and breed. Apply as directed in the product label.

Use Suspend SC as a residual or broadcast spray to perimeters, lawns, grounds, landscapes and ornamental plants. Apply as a coarse, low-pressure spray to outdoor building surfaces, porches, patios, eaves, screens, window frames, garbage dumps, lawns and ornamental plants. Treat a band of soil 6 to 10 feet wide around and adjacent to buildings and structures. Treat foundations up to a height of 3 feet.

Control wood-damaging insects by applying spray or foam solutions having 0.06% Deltamethrin. Using the appropriate application equipment, apply solutions to infested surfaces and damaged wooden structures. Inject solutions inside termite carton nests and damaged wood. DEMON WP Insecticide - 1 Envelope

Syngenta's Demon WP is an odorless, water-soluble insecticide that delivers quick knockdown and lasting residual control of over 30 pests. The product contains 40% Cypermethrin, one of the most reliable pyrethroids to control indoor and outdoor pest infestations. Demon WP is available in convenient 1-lb jars with scoops and in envelopes which greatly reduces the efforts of mixing. One pound of the product makes up to 50 gallons of finished solution.

Directions for DEMON WP Use

Demon WP is in the form of soluble powder that is intended for water dilutions. Following the dilution rates found in the product label, add measured amounts of Demon WP to water to produce the desired amount of solution. Compatible pesticides may be mixed together with the product unless prohibited by the product label. Use the finished solutions for surface treatments, crack and crevice treatments or spot applications. Apply solutions using handheld or powered sprayers, crack and crevice injectors or paint brushes.

Permitted areas of use in nonfood/nonfeed areas include, but are not limited to: aircraft (cargo and non-cabin areas only), apartment buildings, boiler rooms, buses, closets, correctional facilities, decks, entries, factories, fencing, floor drains (that lead to sewers), food granaries, food grain mills, food manufacturing, processing and serving establishments; furniture, garages, garbage rooms, greenhouses (non-commercial), hospitals (non-patient areas), hotels and motels, houses, industrial buildings, laboratories, livestock/poultry housing, landscape vegetation, locker rooms, machine rooms, mausoleums, mobile homes, mop closets, mulch, nursing homes, offices, patios, pet kennels,porches, railcars, restaurants, storage rooms, schools, sewers (dry), stores, trailers, trees, trucks, utility passages, vessels, vestibules, warehouses, wineries, and yards.

Repeat treatments as necessary, but not more than once every 7 days.

Where to Apply DEMON WP

For use by commercial applicators in, on and around buildings and structures for the control of listed pests, including on lawns, ornamental trees and shrubs around residential, institutional, public, commercial, agricultural and industrial buildings; and parks, recreational areas and athletic fields.

Demon WP may be used as a general surface, crack and crevice and/or spot treatment in the non-food areas of food handling establishments. Examples of non-food areas include garbage rooms, lavatories, floor drains (to sewers), entries and vestibules, offices, locker rooms, machine rooms, boiler rooms, garages, mop closets, and storage (after canning or bottling).

Do not use Demon WP in food areas of food handling establishments, restaurants or other areas where food is commercially prepared, processed or served. Food areas include areas for receiving, storage, packing (canning, bottling, wrapping, boxing), preparing, edible waste storage and enclosed processing systems (mills, dairies, edible oils, syrups). Serving areas (when food is exposed and facility is in operation) also would be considered a food area.

Fenvastar EcoCap is a microencapsulated suspension concentrate containing 0.3 pounds active ingredient per gallon.

Fenvastar EcoCap is designed to provide long residual activity against pests listed on this label when applied as surface or spot treatments or as a crack and crevice spray in and around residential and commercial structures, as well as on turf and landscaping. Fenvastar EcoCap may be sprayed on any surface that will not be stained by water. DO NOT use this product as a fogger or apply it as a space spray. Do not apply in electrical conduits, junction and switch boxes, motor housings, or other electrical equipment due to shock hazard from water-based spray.

Fenvastar EcoCap should be mixed with water and applied with hand pressurized or power operated sprayers. Shake container of Fenvastar EcoCap before diluting. Clean spray equipment before use. For dilution, add approximately half the required water to spray tank and then add the appropriate amount of Fenvastar EcoCap. Agitate and slowly add the remaining water. Agitate spray thoroughly before using and also occasionally during use to ensure dispersion.

Apply as a course, wet spray to surfaces where these pests are normally found. Treat floors, baseboards, around doors and windows, in attics, crawl spaces, eaves, corners, closets, walls, utility pipes, storage areas, and all cracks and crevices. Treat underneath sinks, dishwashers, refrigerators, stoves, the underside of shelves, drawers, cabinets, areas behind pipes, and in all places where these insects shelter. Contact as many insects as possible with direct spray. Repeat applications as needed, but do not exceed more than one (1) application every seven (7) days.
