Indoor Applications

For space treatments, first calculate the size of the space to be treated. Turn off air conditioners and close all windows and doors and spray the enclosed area by directing the insecticide mist upwards. Spray at the rate of 1 to 3 seconds per 1000 cu. ft. of enclosed space and keep the area closed for at least 15 minutes for maximum effectiveness. Before reoccupying, ventilate the treated area.

For direct contact applications, place the injector tip at the can nozzle and spray on cracks and crevices frequented by insects. Spray at rates depending on applications. Spray additional amounts if necessary or when the infestation seems heavy. Please consult the Material Safety Data Sheet for the specifics.

Outdoor Applications

For outdoor treatments, spray only at wind speeds below 6 miles per hour. Repeat if necessary. Spray directly into mud dauber and wasp nests by holding the container 18" away.

For crevice treatments, position the applicator tip directly onto cracks and crevices and deposit small amounts of the bait inside the voids.

Outdoor Use Directions:

A thorough inspection around a structure may reveal areas where cockroaches are gaining access. Attempts should be made to remove the access. Apply 0.5% to 0.10% Orthene PCO dilutions to a band of soil measuring 6 to 10 feet adjacent to structures. Treat foundations to a height of 2 to 3 feet and coat/spray building surfaces such as window sills, frames, screens, eaves, garages, patios and garbage areas.

Proven Control of Crawling Insects in Commercial and Residential Locations

CB Borid Boric Acid Dust is a natural product that uses a contact kill and knock-down method like all other dusts. CB Borid Boric Acid Dust provides long-term treatment and remains effective as long as it remains dry and accessible to insects. Depending on the pest, CB Boric Borid Acid Dust will either kill the pest the minute they touch or it will allow the pest to carry the dust back to its colony, exposing the colony to the dust. CB Borid Boric Acid can be used either indoors or outdoors; simply apply small amounts using a tool or application tip. No dust should be visible, so make sure to brush the remaining dust into the cracks or crevices. When using CB Borid Boric Acid Dust, remember to be careful around children or pets.

The dust application is simple. However, when using dust, please be cautious, especially when children and pets are present. Use dust only in areas where they cannot reach. Serving areas, when food is exposed and facility is in operation, also would be considered a food area.

SERVING AREAS:

Facilities where prepared foods are served, such as dining room, but excluding areas where food may be prepared or held. Apply CB Borid Boric Acid Dust as a spot treatment to selective surfaces such as baseboards or under elements of constructions into cracks and crevices. Avoid treating surfaces likely to be contacted by food. (Do not apply CB Borid Boric Acid Dust when facility is in operation or foods are exposed.)

NON-FOOD AREAS:

Includes garbage rooms, lavatories, floor drains (to sewer entries and vestibules), offices, locker rooms, machine rooms, boiler rooms, garages, mop closets, and storage (after canning or bottling). SEWER TREATMENT:

Apply CB Borid Boric Acid Dust using portable blowers or air pressure tanks at a rate that does not exceed 8 pounds per 3,000 square feet.

PRETREATMENT OF NEW CONSTRUCTION (Preventive treatment for cockroaches and drywood termites):

Apply CB Borid Boric Acid Dust to baseplates and plumbing voids at the rate of 4 pounds per 1,000 square feet. In attics, apply powder around perimeter of attics and around vent stacks at the rate of 4 pounds per 1,000 square feet.

POULTRY HOUSES-TO CONTROL DARKLING BEETLES:

Remove birds before applying product. Apply CB Borid Boric Acid Dust at the rate of 1 to 2 pounds per 100 square feet over old litter or soil surface of the poultry house. Also apply to the posts, walls, framing, and insulation of the poultry house. Do not apply CB Borid Boric Acid Dust directly to manure. Evenly spread fresh litter a minimum of four inches over all treated floor surfaces before introducing birds. Reapply CB Borid Boric Acid Dust after each grow-out period or after each sanitizing and cleaning of the poultry containment area in order to have good beetle control.

FOR CONTROL OF FLYING INSECTS SUCH AS FLIES, GNATS, MOSQUITOES, MOTHS AND WASPS - Calculate the volume of the space to be treated and apply at the rate of 2 to 3 seconds per 1,000 cubic feet.

FOR CRAWLING INSECTS SUCH AS COCKROACHES, ANTS AND SPIDERS -Before applications, turn off air conditioners and close all doors and windows. Treat hiding spaces such as cabinets, under sinks, cracks and crevices, behind appliances, along plumbing, baseboards and floors. Hit the insects whenever possible. Some of these pests may enter houses. Applying a continual band of insecticide around a building foundation can greatly reduce the potential for entry by crawling pests. For optimal control, remove debris and leaf litter from next to the foundation, cut back vegetation and branches that touch the foundation, and move or rake back rocks, deep mulch, or other potential pest harborage next to the foundation prior to application. Apply a 3 to 5 foot band of granules next to the structure foundation. Apply at the rate of 2 to 3 lbs. per 1000 square feet. Distribute granules uniformly. For optimal control, water lightly to dissolve granules.

For control of ants, armyworms, centipedes, crickets, cutworms, earwigs, grasshoppers, green June beetles, Japanese beetles (adult), leafhoppers, millipedes, mites, pillbugs, sod webworms, spider mites, spittlebugs and springtails with Demand G:

Apply at the rate of 2 to 3 lbs. per 1000 square feet with a fertilizer spreader when grass is dry. For best results, water lawn lightly to dissolve granules.

For control or suppression of billbugs, chinch bugs, dung beetles, green June beetle grubs, Hyperodes weevils, Japanese beetle grubs and mole crickets, immediately water grass thoroughly after application with Demand G:

For billbug control, apply when activity is first observed or when chewed or brown grass indicates damage from these insects. For grub suppression, except dung beetle, treat any time between late July and early October. For dung beetle grub suppression, apply in spring or early summer when damage is first noticed. For best results, water grass thoroughly with 1/4 to 1/2 inch of water as soon as possible following application. Treat again in late summer or early fall if a second generation occurs. For chinch bugs, use higher rates during summer when both nymphs and adults may be present. For mole crickets, make applications for adults during early spring when grass areas may be subject to continuous invasion. For best results, apply as late in the day as possible and water in with up to 0.5 inches of water as soon as possible following treatment. When the soil is not moist, irrigation before application will bring mole crickets closer to the surface to enhance contact with the granule. Applications at the time of peak egg hatch will increase control of early nymphal stages that are more susceptible to insecticides. As nymphs mature, higher rates may be necessary.

Spot Treatment for Ants with Demand G:

For general ant control, apply 11/2 teaspoons over and around each ant hill. Lightly water to dissolve granules. Apply water gently to avoid disturbing ants, first breaking any necessary soil crust to ensure water penetrates the nest. Use of high pressure watering equipment may disturb the ants and cause migration-reducing product effectiveness. NOTE: For best results, apply in cool weather, 60 to 80 F, in early morning, or late evening hours. Treat near mounds as they appear. Difficult or extensive ant infestations will benefit from a combination of broadcast treatments and spot applications. If soil is not moist, irrigate before application to bring ants closer to the surface to enhance control with Demand G Insecticide granules. Do not apply this product to edible growing crops or stored raw agricultural commodities used for food or feed. Do not allow applications to contact water inhabited by fish, such as in ornamental fish ponds that are located around structures being treated. Do not apply this product by aerial application. Use of this pesticide adjacent to water may affect aquatic organisms. To protect these organisms, do not apply this pesticide within 25 ft. of lakes, reservoirs, rivers, permanent streams, marshes or natural ponds, estuaries, and commercial fish farm ponds. In the state of New York, do not apply within 100 ft. of coastal marshes or streams that drain into coastal marshes. Observe all restrictions and precautions which appear on the labels of these products. Do not apply more than 0.36 lbs. of the a.i. (800 pounds of Demand G Insecticide) per year. Good coverage is necessary to provide the most effective level of control. Consult your state university or local Cooperative Extension Service office for specific pest control application timing in your area. Application to turf should be started prior to the establishment of high insect pest populations and significant turf damage. Make reapplications as necessary to keep pest populations under control, using higher rates as pest pressure increases.

If spray gets on any sensitive surface that is listed, simply rinse with water and wipe off with clean cloth. EcoEXEMPT IC2 may be diluted with water or oil and applied with conventional application equipment including, but not limited to, compressed air sprayers and power sprayers. When diluting with water, prepare only the amount needed for immediate use and maintain agitation during use. Do Not Store Spray Solution Overnight. For oil dilutions that are applied in food handling establishments, a deodorized petroleum oil which conforms to CFR 21 (especially section 172.884) is required (such as Exxon Isopar M, Ashland Low Odor Base Solvent, or the equivalents). Tank mix applications must be made in accordance with the more restrictive of label limitations and precautions. No label dosages may be exceeded. This product cannot be tank mixed with any product with label prohibitions against such mixing.

Thoroughly spray non-visible areas where these insects are usually found with special attention to cracks and crevices, niches, dark corners, drains and other harborage sites. To prevent potential discoloring, do not spray on visible areas (i.e. baseboards, door frames, walls, etc.) and wipe away excess. Food processing operations may continue when EcoEXEMPT IC2 is applied as a surface, spot or crack and crevice treatment in accordance with the directions and precautions given above.

FOGGING with Eco EXEMPT IC - 2:

To control crawling and flying insects (Flies, Moths, Fruit Flies, etc) in sites that include, but are not limited to, food processing plants, (INCLUDING USDA INSPECTED FACILITIES), industrial installations, animal quarters (cattle barns, horse barns, poultry barns, swine houses, zoos and warehouses), EcoEXEMPT IC2 may be applied as a space spray through conventional fogging equipment. Cover or remove exposed food and cover food-handling surfaces in edible product areas of food handling establishments. Also cover sensitive surfaces (plastics, etc). Close and shut off air conditioning or ventilating equipment. Mix 4 to10 ounces of EcoEXEMPT IC2 insecticide with sufficient oil to equal 1 gallon of diluted spray. (It is recommended to use lower rates in most food facility applications). Apply at a rate of 1 to 3 fluid ounces per 1000 cubic feet, filling the room with mist (or fog, if thermal equipment is used). Keep area closed for at least 15 minutes. Vacate treated area. Ventilate before reoccupying. Fogging may create slippery conditions on painted floor surfaces. Retreat if reinfestation occurs. The product does contain plant oils that are inherently fragrant. When used in confined spaces, prolonged exposure to the fragrance may be objectionable to some individuals.

Use the product as a contact or space spray using aerosol generators, foggers adjusted to deliver aerosol droplets. Close rooms to be treated and shut off all air conditioning and venting equipment. Apply one gallon of mixture per 750 square feet of surface. Treat animals using a spray solution having 1 part concentrate per 49 parts water. Apply 2 fluid ounces as a light mist, per adult animal. Treat animal quarters by following the space spray directions.

For automatic ULV spraying systems, mix 64 ounces of Riptide in 55 gallons of water. Partially applicator tank with water then add the appropriate amount of concentrate. Add the remaining volume of water and agitate to ensure an even mixture. Double the amount of concentrate for heavy infestations. Nozzles should be calibrated for a delivery rate not exceeding 1.25 ounces of solution per minute. Each nozzle should cover 100 square feet. Set the timer accordingly, keeping in mind not to activate the equipment if humans, pets and food are around the vicinity of treatment areas. Directions for Use

Martin's IGR is a liquid concentrate intended for water dilutions for general surface, spot or crack and crevice applications. Existing adult fleas and pupae are NOT affected by the product. Compatible adulticides may be tank mixed with the product for immediate and broader control. Prepare diluted solutions as indicated in the product label. Apply as a coarse, low pressure spray using appropriate application equipment such as hand sprayers, power sprayers.

FOR CONTROL OF FLEAS: Prepare a diluted solution by mixing 1 ounce of Martin's per gallon of water. Fill applicator tanks half full with water and add the product. How It Works

NyGuard's active ingredient is Pyriproxyfen, an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR), which is a juvenile hormone mimic (JHM). The naturally occurring juvenile hormone regulates and stimulates the developmental process of insects. High concentrations of juvenile hormone stimulate the molting process. The level of juvenile hormone then drops to low levels, which leads to normal maturation of the larvae (larva to pupa, pupa to adult, or nymph to adult molt).

NyGuard interferes with this synchronized balance of hormones during the molting process. Treatment with NyGuard introduces and maintains high concentrations of juvenile hormone mimic at critical points during the insect developmental process. Thus, normal maturation of larvae or nymphs is prevented. The result is the insect stays in an immature stage indefinitely. When this happens the insects with complete metamorphosis will continue to molt from larva to larva until it dies. Insects with incomplete metamorphosis will remain in nymph stage, or have morphological deformation, maturing into sterile, non-reproductive adults.

NyGuard disrupts the normal metamorphosis process of immature insects. Treatment with NyGuard will disrupt the growth, development and reproduction in many insect species in a manner that is environmentally acceptable. The biological results in the target insects are most commonly death or deformity with sterility.

NyGuard does not kill adult insects. For best results, use NyGuard in combination with an insecticide that will kill existing populations of insects. Once the active insect populations have been eliminated, NyGuard will remain to disrupt the maturation of eggs or other immature stages of the insect population.

Application of Optigard Flex Liquid

Optigard Flex is effective against a variety of ants and other nuisance pests. Application of Optigard Flex to void areas provides an additional point of treatment for nuisance pest problems. Application of Optigard Flex to structural voids is complemented by perimeter insecticide and bait applications. In addition to ants, Optigard Flex controls other nuisance pests, including beetles, crickets, boxelder bugs, ladybird beetles, earwigs, cockroaches, fire ants, etc. Control of these pests can be achieved by injecting 2-4 oz. of foam at multiple points in voids of target areas where ants or other pests are trailing into a structure, or in areas near plumbing penetrations in kitchens or bathrooms, where pests often seek food or moisture. Applications inside void areas should be directed at the lower six inches near the sill plate.

Optigard Flex has exhibited excellent non-repellent activity against drywood termites. Application of Optigard Flex for zone or spot treatments of drywood termites should focus on controlling active infestations. Optigard Flex may be applied with equipment suited for injection of foam into termite galleries in wood. Optigard Flex is compatible with a wide range of foam-generating equipment, including hand-pump or power models. Injections should be made by drilling into termite galleries and applying a foam preparation of Optigard Flex into each injection hole.

In addition to void applications, crack-and-crevice or spot applications may be made to control cockroaches in areas not easily accessible to humans. Treatment areas include points or cracks between different elements of construction, spaces between equipment and floor or wall, openings leading to voids in walls, spaces beneath equipment or cabinets, or spaces between trim and floors or walls. As a spot or crack-and-crevice treatment, apply 0.1% Optigard Flex dilution directly into cracks and crevices or other non-exposure areas as a low pressure spray using equipment capable of delivering a pin stream of insecticide.

Optigard Flex may be applied as a perimeter band around structures to control ants and other occasional insect pests. See label for specific application instructions.

In addition, Optigard Flex Liquid can also be applied to landscape ornamentals as a foliar spray or banded drench around the base of the plants to control honeydew producing insects and thus, the ants that feed on their honeydew secretions.

Directions For Use

All residue must be out of reach of children or domestic animals. Avoid contamination of food and foodstuffs. Do not use in aircraft cabins. Before use, shake until agitator ball rattles. For best results, Use in upright position only. Do not spray on plastic, painted or varnished surfaces or directly into any electronic equipment such as radios, televisions, computers, telephones, etc. where the powdery residue may foul or short electric contacts an d circuits.

HOW TO USE WHITMIRE MICRO-GEN CRACK AND CREVICE INJECTION SYSTEM: Use PERMADUST with the supplied actuator and injection tubes. Inject PERMA-DUST into cracks and crevices or void spaces where insects may be harboring, living and breeding. Place injector tip into cracks, crevices, holes and other small openings. Release approximately one second of product. Move injector tip along cracks while treating at the rate of three linear feet per second. For closed voids, calculate the void¤?¤±¤?¤? cubic area and treat at the rate of three to five seconds per three cubic feet. For closed void areas, drill small access holes. Several holes may be required in long-running voids. This product may leave a white residue. This residue can normally be removed with a damp cloth or sponge.

INDOOR TREATMENTS CENTIPEDES, COCKROACHES, CRICKETS, DERMESTIDS, EARWIGS, MILLIPEDES, SCORPIONS, SOWBUGS AND SPIDERS: Inject with the prescribed dosage into cracks and crevices and void spaces where insects may be harboring. These may include, but are not limited to, openings around pipes and sinks, under refrigerators, behind baseboards, washing machines, stoves, cabinets, sewers, floor drains and meter boxes.

BOOKLICE, FIREBRATS AND SILVERFISH: Inject into cracks and crevices associated with baseboards, door frames, bookcases and other harborage sites.

Directions for Use

Mix Suspend with water following the dilution rates in the product label. Active ingredient concentration in solutions range from 0.01% to 0.06%, depending on the target pest/s. Apply using hand pressurized or power operated sprayers. Shake well before using. Partially fill applicator tanks 1/2 full with water before adding the proper amount of concentrate. Agitate the tank and add the remaining volume of water. Re-agitate to obtain a uniform mixture. The product may be tank mixed with currently registered pesticides and insect growth regulators unless prohibited by the product label. Solutions can be converted to foam used in treating structural voids. Mix Suspend SC with a foaming agent following the mixing instructions as indicated in the foaming agent label.

Use finished solutions for crack and crevice, spot and surface treatments indoors. Use 0.25 to 1.5 ounces of Suspend per gallon of water to treat 1,000 square feet of surface. Apply as a coarse low pressure spray to cracks, crevices, voids and other sites where insect live, feed and breed. Apply as directed in the product label.

Use Suspend SC as a residual or broadcast spray to perimeters, lawns, grounds, landscapes and ornamental plants. Apply as a coarse, low-pressure spray to outdoor building surfaces, porches, patios, eaves, screens, window frames, garbage dumps, lawns and ornamental plants. Treat a band of soil 6 to 10 feet wide around and adjacent to buildings and structures. Treat foundations up to a height of 3 feet.

Control wood-damaging insects by applying spray or foam solutions having 0.06% Deltamethrin. Using the appropriate application equipment, apply solutions to infested surfaces and damaged wooden structures. Inject solutions inside termite carton nests and damaged wood. Tengard SFR One's active ingredient has the ability to kill over 75 different types of pest. The permethrin in Tengard SFR One has a long lasting and increases effective. Tengard SFR One can be used indoors and outdoors, when used outdoors it dispersed in the soil and establish a barrier between the structure and the termites in the soil. Tengard SFR One is a pesticide that kill pest but also as a prevention.

Mix the termiticide use dilution in the following manner:

1. Fill tank 1/4 to 1/3 full.
2. Start pump to begin by-pass agitation and place end of treating tool in tank to allow circulation through hose.
3. Add appropriate amount of Tengard SFR. (See Rate/Volume Conversion Chart)
4. Add remaining amount of water.

Application Volume: To provide maximum control and protection against termite infestation apply the specified volume of the finished water emulsion and active ingredient as set forth in the directions for use section of this label. Directions for Bifen IT Use

Applying Bifen I/T requires the use of suitable application equipment and personal protective equipment. The product is extremely toxic. Depending on the target pest and the method of application, Bifen I/T should be applied using the correct methods as stated in the product label. The product can be used for broadcast treatments, perimeter treatments, crack and crevice applications, sub-slab injections and residual barrier treatments. For subterranean termite control, methods may be employed such as trenching, rodding, crack and crevice injection or absorption for effective control.

CB Borid Boric Acid Dust is a natural product that uses a contact kill and knock-down method like all other dusts. Apply CB Borid Boric Acid Dust as a spot treatment to selective surfaces such as baseboards or under elements of constructions into cracks and crevices. Avoid treating surfaces likely to be contacted by food. (Do not apply CB Borid Boric Acid Dust when facility is in operation or foods are exposed.)

NON-FOOD AREAS:

Includes garbage rooms, lavatories, floor drains (to sewer entries and vestibules), offices, locker rooms, machine rooms, boiler rooms, garages, mop closets, and storage (after canning or bottling). SEWER TREATMENT:

Apply CB Borid Boric Acid Dust using portable blowers or air pressure tanks at a rate that does not exceed 8 pounds per 3,000 square feet.

PRETREATMENT OF NEW CONSTRUCTION (Preventive treatment for cockroaches and drywood termites):

Apply CB Borid Boric Acid Dust to baseplates and plumbing voids at the rate of 4 pounds per 1,000 square feet. In attics, apply powder around perimeter of attics and around vent stacks at the rate of 4 pounds per 1,000 square feet.

POULTRY HOUSES-TO CONTROL DARKLING BEETLES:

Remove birds before applying product. Apply CB Borid Boric Acid Dust at the rate of 1 to 2 pounds per 100 square feet over old litter or soil surface of the poultry house. Also apply to the posts, walls, framing, and insulation of the poultry house. Do not apply CB Borid Boric Acid Dust directly to manure. Evenly spread fresh litter a minimum of four inches over all treated floor surfaces before introducing birds. Reapply CB Borid Boric Acid Dust after each grow-out period or after each sanitizing and cleaning of the poultry containment area in order to have good beetle control.

FOR INDOOR TREATMENTS: Place bait in areas inaccessible to children and pets. Tamperproof bait stations may be used to prevent children and animals from accessing the bait. Apply InTice at a rate of 6 ounces per 100 square feet using hand held or powered dusters and similar applicators. Apply bait to attics, crawlspaces, under and behind appliances, closets, under sinks, wall voids, cracks and crevices, electrical conduits, around drains and other areas where insects are seen.

NyGuard EZ1 and NyGuard IGR are different formulas of pyriproxyfen and have different directions for use. Always read and follow label directions for each product.

How It Works

NyGuard's active ingredient is Pyriproxyfen, an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR), which is a juvenile hormone mimic (JHM). The naturally occurring juvenile hormone regulates and stimulates the developmental process of insects. High concentrations of juvenile hormone stimulate the molting process. The level of juvenile hormone then drops to low levels, which leads to normal maturation of the larvae (larva to pupa, pupa to adult, or nymph to adult molt).

NyGuard interferes with this synchronized balance of hormones during the molting process. Treatment with NyGuard introduces and maintains high concentrations of juvenile hormone mimic at critical points during the insect developmental process. Thus, normal maturation of larvae or nymphs is prevented. The result is the insect stays in an immature stage indefinitely. When this happens the insects with complete metamorphosis will continue to molt from larva to larva until it dies. Insects with incomplete metamorphosis will remain in nymph stage, or have morphological deformation, maturing into sterile, non-reproductive adults.

NyGuard disrupts the normal metamorphosis process of immature insects. Treatment with NyGuard will disrupt the growth, development and reproduction in many insect species in a manner that is environmentally acceptable. The biological results in the target insects are most commonly death or deformity with sterility.

NyGuard does not kill adult insects. For best results, use NyGuard in combination with an insecticide that will kill existing populations of insects. Once the active insect populations have been eliminated, NyGuard will remain to disrupt the maturation of eggs or other immature stages of the insect population.

Fenvastar EcoCap may be sprayed on any surface that will not be stained by water. DO NOT use this product as a fogger or apply it as a space spray. Fenvastar EcoCap should be mixed with water and applied with hand pressurized or power operated sprayers. Shake container of Fenvastar EcoCap before diluting. Clean spray equipment before use. For dilution, add approximately half the required water to spray tank and then add the appropriate amount of Fenvastar EcoCap. Agitate and slowly add the remaining water. Agitate spray thoroughly before using and also occasionally during use to ensure dispersion.

Apply as a course, wet spray to surfaces where these pests are normally found. Treat floors, baseboards, around doors and windows, in attics, crawl spaces, eaves, corners, closets, walls, utility pipes, storage areas, and all cracks and crevices. Treat underneath sinks, dishwashers, refrigerators, stoves, the underside of shelves, drawers, cabinets, areas behind pipes, and in all places where these insects shelter.
