Speckoz Evercide features Esfenvalerate, a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide less toxic and more potent than other pyrethroids. Flexible and highly effective, Speckoz can be diluted in oil or in water, offering the superior residual performance regardless of the diluent. Due to its low toxicity and application rates, the product is labeled for use in food and non-food areas of commercial and industrial structures.

Why Should You Use?

Speckoz Evercide EC can be used in food handling areas. Speckoz can be diluted in water or in oil for extended residual control.

Directions for Use

Depending on the target pest, mix one or two ounces of Speckoz per gallon of water/ oil to produce a solution containing 0.027% and 0.05% active ingredient. Apply as a coarse, wet spray at the rate of 1 gallon per 1,000 square feet of surface area. Insect growth regulators or pyrethroid insecticides may be tank mixed with the product unless prohibited by the product label/s. Do NOT tank mix products with dichlorvos (DDVP).

Treat surfaces where insects are normally found, in baseboards, cabinets and shelves, underneath sinks and equipment, in floors and walls, floor drains, door and window frames, garbage cans, utility installations and other harborage sites. Pay particular attention to cracks, crevices and voids in walls and floors. If necessary drill holes in damaged wooden structures to kill wood destroying insects. Treat outdoor surfaces at the rate of 1 gallon of mixture per 1,000 square feet.

Speckoz may be used as a space spray at the maximum dilution rate of 10 ounces of concentrate per gallon of oil. Apply using mechanical foggers capable of producing aerosol particles less than 30 microns. Before treatment, close all doors and windows in treatment area. Shut off air conditioning units and ventilating systems before proceeding. Direct spray into cracks and crevices, under and behind equipment and appliances, or dark harborage areas before commencing the space treatment. Direct the spray upwards towards the ceiling and corners at the rate of 1 ounce per 1,000 cubic feet of space. Evacuate the treated area and keep the area closed for 30 minutes. Ventilate before occupying.
