Stuf- Fit Copper Mesh is not a form of rust it is a cloth. Stuf Fit Copper Mesh is used to seal of cracks or entrances where rodents can get in for a permanent seal. Other supplies such as staples or glue are needed to finish off the job. Unlike steel wool the pure Copper interlocks in loops and cannot be taken apart, leading to better results. When rodents try to chew through the product it will get stuck in their teeth making it impossible. Stuf Fit is a non rust product therefore there are no worries of rusting on bricks, wood, or siding. If the opening or entrance is bigger than 2” it is recommended to get proper repairs done.
