AGRISEL Surflan Pro Herbicide - 1 Pint
Surflan Pro is a pre-emergent herbicide for the control of annual grasses and many other broadleaf weeds in ornamental plantings, ground covers, bulbs, perennials, Christmas tree plantations, established warm-season turfgrass, non-bearing trees/vines, and non-cropland/industrial sites. Surflan Pro will only control weeds growing from seeds during their germination stage and will not have effect on already established or emerged weeds.
Important Note: Surflan Pro contains orange coloring and may temporarily discolor applied surfaces. The color may be removed by immediately washing the affected area with water or an industrial cleaner.
Tip: It takes a minimum of a 1/2 inch of rainfall or a similar amount of irrigation with a sprinkler to activate Surflan Pro.

The volume of water is not critical, as long as the desired rate of Surflan Pro is delivered uniformly. Rather, Surflan is measured by the amount of desired herbicide per area coverage. (1.5 fl oz per 1000 sq ft or 2 qt per 1 acre) EXAMPLE: If the sprayer used is 2 gallons of water to cover 1000 sq. ft and the desired application rate of Surflan Pro is 3 fl. oz. per 1000 sq. ft, then you would add 3 fl. oz. of Surflan Pro to every 2 gallons of water to be used. |

Q. pre-emergent herbicides
can you tell me what color the product is IE: what color dye is used in it - yellow, red, green?

A. Surflan Pro Herbicide is orange in color and may cause temporary discoloration of the surfaces that it has been sprayed on. If you do not desire this discoloration, it may be altered by using a commercially available colorant or removed from the surface by spraying the surface with water or washing it with an industrial cleaner immediately after the application. You may also apply Surflan Pro with mulch colorants
