Surflan Pro Herbicide - Quart

Control a variety of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds with Surflan Pro Herbicide, which is a pre-emergent, surface-applied product. Use Surflan Pro Herbicide also on a wide variety of non-crop areas like on ornamental plantings, bulbs, ground covers or perennials, established warm-season turfgrass, Christmas tree plantations, non-bearing trees and vines, and other non-cropland and industrial sites. (Please refer to the product label for a complete list of where you can and cannot apply Surflan Pro Herbicide.)

Directions for Use:

Ground Application - Apply Surflan Pro as directed on the label. Use only a properly calibrated, low-pressure, herbicide sprayer that will apply the solution evenly. In all cases, use sufficient water volume to obtain a uniform coverage. The volume of water used is not critical, as long as the desired rate of Surflan Pro is delivered uniformly across the area treated. Instead, determine the volume of water delivered by the sprayer to a given area.

(EXAMPLE: If the sprayer used is 2 gallons of water to cover 1000 sq. ft and the desired application rate of Surflan Pro is 3 fl. oz. per 1000 sq. ft, then you would add 3 fl. oz. of Surflan Pro to every 2 gallons of water to be used.)

Mixing Directions - Shake Well Before Using Make sure the spray tank is clean and use only clean water. Fill the spray tank 1/2 - 3/4 full. Start agitation and add the required amount of Surflan Pro. Continue agitation and finish filling the spray tank. Maintain continuous agitation until application is completed.

Surflan Pro Herbicide is orange in color and may cause temporary discoloration of the surfaces that it has been sprayed on. If you do not desire this discoloration, it may be altered by using a commercially available colorant or removed from the surface by spraying the surface with water or washing it with an industrial cleaner immediately after the application. You may also apply Surflan Pro with mulch colorants.
