There are not a lot of flying insects that spark as much fear as the Yellow Jacket. These insects are known to be extremely aggressive and unfortunately there have been many victims on the receiving end of a yellow jacket's stinger. Yellow jackets are 1/2" long and black and yellow in color. One of the most troubling thoughts that come to mind when thinking of a yellow jacket is that they are capable of stinging multiple times plus they seem to understand the concept of strength in numbers as some live together in colonies. When their nests are disturbed, they'll certainly call in the cavalry and orchestrate a mass attack. How to Get Rid of Yellow Jackets
Yellow jackets are more aggressive compared to their other relatives, however they can be removed and killed similar to any other wasp. The only difference is that yellow jackets reside underground so there will be some slight changes in your removal strategy. It is ideal to apply treatments during the early summer time which is around the time yellow jackets construct their nests. Before going out there and initiating a war, be sure to time your attack during a cold night. Yellow jackets have a difficult time maneuvering in colder temperatures. Using dust insecticides is recommended for efficient control of yellow jackets, however liquid pesticides can also do the trick just make sure the insecticide reaches the core of the nest to ensure entire control.

Q. Yellow Jacket Problem
I have a bad problem with yellow jackets coming into my home. I look around my house and I don't see where they are coming from. I have been string twice and have two small kids and I don't want them to get attack. They seem to be in my master bathroom and my landryroom. I don't know what to do. Please help me get rid of those things.
A. For your first question, try to look behind furniture and or small cracks and crevices in which they may be coming out from. Also check the window area to see if there are any holes they may be coming in from. In those areas I would highly recommend using Delta Dust
