Summon Termite Food Source Discs are different from termite baits. Even the amounts of cluster around the two baits are different and the rate of infestation is different. Summon Termite Food Source Discs are usually placed underneath or in the bottom of the termite monitor or bait stations.
Size: 1 Case / 25 Discs
These Food Discs are "Filet Mignon" for termites, which helps to increase the rate of termite activity in the Termite Monitoring System. Unlike termite baits, once the source disc is laid out, a cluster of termites will gather immediately. Through experiments, it was observed that termites aggregated on top of the disk. There was a significant increase in consumption when the summon disk was on top of the wood block. When there is water exact of Summon Disk on treated sand it has been proven that termites tunnel through them a lot faster. From a field test, the rate of infestation of monitoring stations with a Summon Disk was 3 times greater than the the rate of infestations of stations without a disk.
